So what? It's still not your news to share. If I shared my financial information with a group of people that I was connected to in som way or another and then one of them blabbed it to a national message board, I'd be pissed.

Oh my goodness. Everyone and their brother (yeah, figure that one out) used that excuse in my class in middle school. I was guilty of it a few times. Mainly when it was weightlifting and the bar alone weighed half of me.
Agreed on the student loan forgiveness. If all those people protesting in OWS actually stopped protesting and put that energy into something productive, maybe they wouldn't feel so "victimized". I'm irked because the school is really tight on money. One of the families has been behind on three years of tuition but J was always nice and let them stay. When all this ish imploded, they set up a serious repayment plan to get things squared away, but they still owe the school over 40 grand as of right now. Well, their youngest is in my kinder class and he was all excited about the 3D TV they just bought last night.... Those things cost like 2 or 3 grand right? I know I know, don't judge how people spend their money.. but sheesh. When you owe THAT much for your kids education, 3D TVs should be at the bottom of your list.
    Posted by chelseamb11
I'm replying as I catch up (and I'd be willing to bet that we've moved on by now), but I disagree with statements like the bolded. I don't really care whether you agree with the OWS movement or not, but I don't think you should act like protesting behavior or treatment is not an effective way to potentiate change, and that it isn't "productive." Protesting has led to MANY big big changes over our history.

Sorry Im way late to responding but yeah. She is odd. She thinks because she was a Hispanic living in Arizona legally she deserves a medal or something. She is one of those conservatives that never isnt super informed and just spouts off really ignorant shiit. I know those types of people exist on both sides of the political spectrum, but living here, having someone on the right talk like that super irks me because conservatives already get a bad rap as it is, so she isnt helping the cause.

She also will just shout out random "4th amendment!" when the professor is talking. I guess she wants another medal for having all the amendments printed out in front of her and her ability to recite them. She is really disruptive in the class and I would like to punch her in the nose.

One of my male friends didn't want to go to school one day and he told his mom he couldn't go because his ovaries hurt. I forget how old he was but he was pretty young. His mom still bugs him about this.

I'm annoyed that marks were due on the 26th and I'm still missing one. I want to be done with the degree already!

Jenna, your comment reminded me that the front end (cashiers) at the HD FI and I met while working there is reknowned for being period TMI central. Poor FI. He was one of the only male cashiers.

  • Midge, I don't really benchpress much at all. I just tried it once and could actually do it, haha. Haven't really done it since. ;)

On that note, I'm completely irrationally irritated at my dad. Since I've been living at home the last 2 weeks, I noticed again how stupid healthy he is. Ever since I can remember, he has exercised at least an hour a day for 6 days a week. And he is a ridiculous health nut, and eats almost no junk food ever. I'm convinced he's going to outlive me, and this annoys me and I know that is a dumb thing to be annoyed by.

I don't know, but I do know that holding onto my dog's collar as she barks and lunges at the person at the door reaaaaly shortens the converstation and pretty much guarantees that they won't come back anytime soon. I could tell her to be quiet, but this way is much more fun and it helps make her look mean and protective.
