Morning!

H is off on his ride time for his EMT course (coming down to the wire now!) and he's really excited about it. This will be his first time "in the field", so it's very exciting.

I'm braving this stupid head cold to get to work and hopefully get something done at the office today. Tonight (if I'm feeling up to it) H and I are going out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. So that's something to look forward to.

Going out is almost always better than cooking when you don't feel good. The only thing better than THAT is delivery/takeout. And yay for H! That's awesome!

Good Morning! I'm sleepy today. It's cold and rainy out and I just want the weather to be nice. This is the worst spring ever.

I had 3 voicemails on my phone this morning at work. I get maybe 2 calls a week. What the fluck is that about?

Morning. I'm enjoying leftover SnoCaps from when we went to the movies last weekend. I fail at healthy snacking in the morning. Although, I am drinking peach-flavored sparkling water, so at least I'm not guzzling Mr. Pibb like I usually do.

I want to see Let Me In, but not enough to pay for it. Someone just needs to give it to me for the day.

Good Morning! I'm up for another day at work. Orientation ALL day again. Boring. But at least I get out early today which is a good thing since I did not get up at 5:30am to work out. I was skyping last night with FI and didn't get to bed until after midnight. 5:30am comes way too quick after that.

Worst spring ever you say Stacks? Our started out well, but the last week it's been shittastic, so I'm scurred for our summer. Blah. So... don't come here to visit. That's all I'm sayin'. Here's hoping Mandapanda doesn't see this and decides her trip can way. heh.

Snips - what does your shiitastic include? Tons of rain and cold? Because that's what it is here. I have the heat on - it's May 18th, not cool. There is something wrong with that. Jocelyn had to wear her winter coat to school yesterday. I was fully expecting them to say today would be snow flurries or something equally lame. Flooding everywhere. So much for the rule of thumb to plant your flowers Mother's Day weekend, they're all dead I'm sure.

Ok. I'll stop whining for the morning. blech.

Today does not feel like a Wednesday to me. It feels like a Tuesday which is not fun.

Our weather sucks here too. Spring is normally my favorite season...but not with all of this cold and rain. Ick!

I think everyone up north is having a bad spring. I know in Buffalo they are too. The heat's on and its rainy and cold. I hate that weather. I also hate winter and snow and cold. I don't know how I lived in Buffalo my entire life lol. My FI keeps saying I'm going to miss the weather. Pretty sure I won't.

Adam-I either use stevia or Truvia. I like it because you don't need as much to sweeten as you would regular sugar.

I just woke up to another cloudy day like Stacks said. They say this weekend is going to be beautiful, so fingers crossed for that.

I had a hell of a time falling asleep last night despite still being really tired. I dunno if its b/c I was thinking about things or its different not having H beside me.

I go to my new job today to fill out paperwork and spend some time in my new classroom. I am excited, but sort of nervous too about starting the new job next week.

Last night we took the church youth paintballing. My lovely Fl had never been and decided he was going to ignore the rules. He did a crazy run (getting hit multiple times I might add) around and ended up shooting my leg from 4' away. I have 2 lovely welts and it hurt like an SOB. I got payback but boy was I pissed. He's so competitive and just ignores rules in games. It's really really frustrating.

Good morning all! I have a pretty crappy day of work ahead of me, so I woke up with a slight sense of dread. Just gotta get through it, right? Then tomorrow and then I don't work on Friday. And next week, well I WAS going to go to Europe but I hear the weather is pretty crappy. Maybe we'll go to Maui instead. :-P

Somehow I missed this whole book club thing. Part of me wants to join and part of me knows I suck at book clubs. Hmmm.

Part of my crappy work day entails being locked in my boss's office with her (and pizza!) later, so I might disappear around mid day.

Good morning! FI was whining all morning about his head hurting. Last night, I tossed him a box of frozen vegetables. He was supposed to catch it. He failed, and the corner of the box nailed him in the forehead. He's fine, but he's being a big baby about it.

This morning, I have (hopefully) my last PT appointment. I hope it goes well.
