Good Evening?

Re: Good Evening?

  • I have only seen one or two episodes of Dexter.
  • Kalpi -- I don't like when they do that either, but it was kind of the reverse in the case of Dexter. Instead of hiring a slightly older child actor to portray an age appropriate kid, they jumped the series ahead a year in time but kept the same child actor so the baby is farther behind in development than his character should be. Its annoying.

Tortis -- Well, then you know what I mean about setting up an interesting next season! :)

  • I hated it when they would recast and age children on soaps.
  • I haven't watched Dexter in 2 seasons. We don't get showtime and have to wait for DVD. Plus I just really kinda lost the will to watch it.

  • MS- I thought character evidence was harder on the bar than hearsay was. I don't know why, but I would either over-symplify or over-complicate the character evidence questions, and get tripped up. But they said during bar review that evidence is pretty much universally the subject people stuggle with the most. It is easier the second time around though!

Don't worry about that anymore- your  wedding is in like 5 minutes! Are you done with finals?

  • One day they're a cute 3 or 4 year old and the next they're a pre-teen starting to get rebellious.

Haha it is set in Miami, actually. ;)

  • Petal. It's about a serial killer but who is supposed to be doing it for good reasons I think? All I needed to know was that it was about a serial killer and I was cool opting for other shows. I know people love love love it though so I'm sure it has more going for it than I'm interested in finding out.

  • Man the PS board sure does have lots of dramz. And Amethyst seems to always be in the middle of it. What is up with that? (I don't know how I ended up over there. Did someone mention it?) I'm on a TK stumbling rampage this evening apparently.

huh, interesting since character evidence was much less confusing than hearsay! I am done with finals thankfully. :) I've been done for almost a week. Right now I'm trying to plan last minute stuff.

My little lab pup is also testing my patience with her invasion of my personal space, haha. Seems labs just don't mind getting all up in your business at any time of the day. :P

  • Kalpi I was put off at first and then 2 years ago I watched it from the beginning.  Then FI joined in.  It's one of the few shows we watch together, actually.

He only kills people who are also killers/rapists or whatever. He has a moral "code". He also works for the police as a forensic analyst so he has an 'in' on a lot of cases and stuff.

  • One reason I hated watching soap operas was because of the casting changes. You would get used to seeing one person as a character and then all of a sudden they change.

  • Evening.
I love SVU... I'm watching reruns now actually.

I just got home from the gym.  I'm waiting for H to call to tell me he's on his way home so I can start dinner.  My brother and his gf are coming over later to decorate gingerbread houses.  It's kind of become a tradition with the 4 of us.
  • Yah. Doesn't sound like it's for me. We still have about an hour to drive. Sigh. Anyone else having trouble with the post count being wrong on threads? It will say 2 posts and then I open it and it is more like 10. Or the opposite.

  • My local news just reported that some of the state ferries had to reduce their passenger capacity because of the fact that on average people weigh more than they did 40 years ago. People were saying they understand it but think it is sad at the same time.

  • Oh puppies- I don't think they have any idea what personal space is.

Mine are WOUND UP. I think they know they are going home for xmas in a few days. Ella keeps smelling our tree and sitting in the chair closest to it so she can put her whole face in it. Goof.

Also- this is random, but your pup and I have the same name. Spelled diferently though! :)

<div>Ugh. My take on it is the PS board was made, everyone was inta-friends.  Ame acted like she wanted Jmo? to be mod, by telling TK gods make Jmo mod! But secretly it seemed like she wanted to be mod, because all she did was be "modly" which was confusing.  Then dearest DJ (<3) was made mod because clearly she had the chops.  Everyone went crazy because ZOMG they made it clear who they wanted.  Jmo was MIA for a week.  Then came back things seemed to settle but the constant jabs and hostility seemed really obvious still.  Also someone got banned, everyone freaked, then she made a new sn, another mod banned her because she was promoting a vendor, and Ame asked DJ if she did it.  Because obviously all DJ wants to do is ban people.  *rolls eyes*</div><div>

<div>I think my not liking her has more to do with the fact that she's getting older and is mad about them trying to adopt a new baby. I'm too invested in this show haha. And that just makes me think of the scene where Phil is trying to get Jay to say DuNphey instead of Dumphey.</div>

Haha I didn't know we both had Tory dogs. :) Right now she is chewing on the santa hat from her stuffed bear that lovely knottie Loopy gave her in my SS gift. But she keeps dropping it either on my keyboard, or when I shove her off, she will drop it behind the bed and then whine until I get it for her. Little attention loving dog.

  • I can't get into the PS board... I've lurked a little and just can't seem to follow it.

Petal- I'm pretty excited! And I haven't really seen my brother much lately since we've both been so busy so I'm looking forward to some hanging out time.
  • Oh, wow.  PS drama.  I had no idea.

I now know what I am doing tonight.
  • Oh and here is our Christmas tree all decorated!

This seems like a pretty good summary from what I've read so far. I <3 Stacks so hard for her comments in the DJ thread over there right now. She's one awesome chick who knows how to put Amethyst in her place.

  • Haha OH Tortis well you have a good name. :) Is it short for anything? I've known a Tori that was Victoria by birth.
