I judge people who don't love christmas. I don't mean people who don't participate because of religion, I mean scrooges who just don't like it. That's like not liking bunnies or candy. Weirdos.

I judge people who name their daughter 'Nevaeh'. Why is spelling heaven backwards an acceptable child's name?
But weirdly spelled names are a serious pet peeve of mine.

  • The only thing I have gotten from this Trick chick is that:

Fat people are lazy (except that she used to be fat).

Since I have traveled to other countries, I should base my opinion of the US by comparing it to an island resort on some shitbag country.

People without kids still think they have any concept of what its like to be a parent.

Oh, and that I love Nebb

If there's a reason for the unusual spelling, it doesn't bug me that much. If it's just different for the sake of being different, I think it becomes a little AWish.

I seriously judge myself because although I have seen the name Nevaeh a few times, it never dawned on me that it was heaven spelled backwards. I thought it was a Native American thing (not sure why) and it struck me as a little judge-worthy that they would use a Native American name for their daugher if they weren't Native American. I have a pet peeve of people appropriating cultural traditions that aren't theirs just because they think it's cool or trendy. Names are kind of a gray area, which is why I said I'd find it a little judge-worthy instead of totally judge-worthy.

For awhile, though, I could have been guilty of this. I always thought my name was boring and wanted my daughter to have a more unique name. Of course I also tried to buy my sister's name from her when we were kids. I like my name now, but wanted something more "flashy" when I was a kid. Like Esmerelda. But, I don't have the personality to be an Esmerelda and I'm not having kids now, so problem solved.
