I think the dress is cute Loopy. I am not fashionable at all so I can't make any suggestions on jeans or leggings. I wore leggings once with an outfit. I just never was sure if it looked okay.

Loopy, I would definitely wear that dress with tights or leggings. And if it was a very casual day, I would throw on jeans under it. But more for grocery store, errands, etc. than for Christmas.

Kalpi - when's the wedding? I wouldn't waste an awesome cut on a one time thing that you have to grow out in order to have longer hair for the wedding. If you're gonna get an awesome cut, do it when you can maintain it for a while and love it. Can you rain check the gift appointment til after the wedding?

Loopy, I would do leggings with that dress. It looks cute, comfy, and casual so I think they'd go better than tights. The wedding is in about 7 months. I don't get haircuts frequently at all and I only get highlights twice a year. I have to do the color part tomorrow either way and definitely need a haircut whether it's a dramatic one or a tame trim and that'll happen tomorrow, too, so I'll go ahead and use the gift now. I hear what you're saying about there being not much point in a whole new hairstyle if I'm just trying to grow it back by the summer anyway. Hmm. Stupid hair decisions.

Have you had shorter hair before Kalpi? Like how short are we talking? Shoulder? Chin? If there's one thing I've seen, it's that some amazing wedding hairstyles can be done with any length hair.

I agree with Loopy that it's silly to cut it drastically just to grow it back out for the next 7 months. If you want to do something shorter, and maintain it, I'm sure it will still be beautiful for your wedding.

Today, I had an easy day at work (should be an easy week...knock on wood, and I have Friday off!) I also stopped by the store for cookie supplies - I think I will make the cookies Wednesday. And now I just got back from the gym. I think I will have some wine. A good day, all around.

My color is so washed out. i stretch it probably about 2 weeks longer than I should, but I cut out a haircare a year that way which is kind of expensive for color, cut, brows, style...
