Also, a thought: a mod is here to prevent TK violations (spam etc.) and clear up the nastiness, when things do get nasty. Yes, we've all gotten a bit more riled up recently than we used to, and in my mind, a mod can only do so much to that end. Regardless of the whole Ae vs. Anyone else dilemma/possible shadiness, I move that we act as grown-ass women (and man) and do our level best to moderate ourselves with regard to any snarkiness and stirring up the Knot Drama pot.

Maybe this is my super-naieve tendency to have everyone love each other and ride off into the forum sunset together with ponies and puppies and butterflies (a la Smokey's Lisa Frank pic), but I think that a general reminder to double-think before you post/don't stir the Drama Pot can eliminate some of the bad blood around here...

...which I'm sure will doubtless continue regardless of whether or not Ae stays mod, but hey, I'm an eternal optimist.

I will chime in and I'm nobody's crony. It's doesn't matter that it was in the beginning of your planning or not. The joke was that you were <strong>indecisive</strong>, period. And you know this (maaaan) because you apologized and owned it. It was like 6 months ago, but yes people (even lame sporadic posters like myself) rememer these things. I distinctly remember a time when you made 2 or 3 threads in a row about in suites and square footage. You're way too defensive about this.

Well I was at first about a couple big things, that being ceremony and reception venue, once I decided to do a last minute scouting trip to see/decide for myself it was figured out though. But yeah that's my point on what you said, that's why it made no sense to me why someone would rip on me/say a dig, for it. Which in turn, pissed me off:)

Mind you, the last drama-ridden post that I was posting in, I lightly said maybe we should all stop going in circles and focus on being excited about our weddings intead, and AE told me to go "squeal about how great my life is somewhere else" - so I guess trying to tone things down is a no no.
