It's amazing how fast the cost of stamps add up. Also when we were mailing out wedding invitations, my mom sent H and my dad to the post office for stamps. We needed some weird amount of postage for them, so they had to get 61 cent stamps and 17 cent stamps. The 61 cent stamps were pretty wedding bells. The 17 cent stamps were big horned sheep. Ha, mine isn't quite this funny, but I found it amusing. I just sent out my STDS and they were postcards. When I went to the postoffice, the only stamps they have that are 32 cent are Hawaiian shirts that say Aloha. I didn't want to pay the extra $ for the wedding ones since I didn't need that high of postage. Although I'm getting married in CA and most are heading back to the Midwest, it still doesn' fit our theme. It made me laugh though. Those same ones will be on our postcard RSVPs too.
I know its a disgusting thing for me to want, haha. But she hasn't caught one animal yet since every time J has taken her hunting, he has had bad luck with getting birds down. It was more me just wanting to see the hunter in her succeed. Not the part of wanting to watch her eat it, hah.
ohhh I thought of another TMI possible shameful confession: Since I am at my parents, I packed a bag for a week worth of clothes right? I did this on Sunday before leaving for the week again. Well this morning I realized I FORGOT to pack underwear. So I'm in the same pair as yesterday. I have to run out and get some from Target later. hah.
I still get pissed that my sister owes me $600- from over a year ago. She borrowed it when I was unemployed and it took forever for me to pay it off. I know I will never see the money, and shouldn't care so much about it now since it is in the past.

That's fine, but it's seriously lame and stupid to even bring it up then. It's like you want everyone to be like "OMG TELL ME TELL ME!" If you're going to say shiit, then say it all, not half of it.

J - I'd be upset. In fact, I'm upset for a similar reason. FI hasn't gotten me a birthday present which (it was 4 weeks ago) nor does he pay for anything. I know he doesn't have a lot of money, but something small would have been fine. I, on the other hand, have already started shopping for his birthday in July. He needs clothes really badly so I've been buying stuff on sale and clearance from all his favorite stores.. that way, by July, I can have a lot of stuff for him. I hope your H did get you something!

I'm sure he did do something, I truly don't even know why I think he didn't. He's an awesome gift giver. I'm just weird.
I would be totally disappointed too if I were you. Sorry :( Did he at least get you a card?

I kind of got pissed that J got me a birthday gift this year. I mean, I liked it, but we agreed no gifts this year for a reason. We are broke as shiit. Our finances are combined so he theoretically bought it with "our" money. It was sweet of him but I was also irritated because he knew I was not going to be able to get him anything.

<div>I had this problem. I was visiting FI while he was living in London and we took a trip to Wales. I left my underwear in the caravan in Wales and had to buy more. It was unfun.</div>
I was irritated for the same reason at Christmas, MuSu. We had agreed on just small gifts, and then he bought me a Kindle. And now I'm irritated that he maybe probably not didn't get me anything.
J - Nope, no card. He bought me a cheesesteak on my birthday and that was it. He kept claiming something was coming, and then he finally told me last week what he had wanted to get, but it was way out of his budget and so unrealistic and he didn't even do any research on the idea, so I almost think he pulled the idea out of his ass at the last minute. Now supposedly, he's going to get me a gift after finals. We'll see. By now, it's like, what's the point?
MuSu - If I don't have clean underwear, I'll just go without them. So there, gross confession, haha.
Lol, bloomers! I felt soooo icky all day. Being in day old underwear is such an uncomfortable feeling. The only other time I recall doing this was on a hiking trip in MT where we could only bring one change of clothes because thats all that fit in our pack. Blech.
J, apparently I am feeling extra gross today, who knew!
Boo, sorry Angel I'd be upset by that too. If you're not going to get something because you can't afford it or whatever, that's fine. Own it, buy me a card, and give me a massage or something. But I hate when people say "I'm getting you somethign! It's coming!!" and it never does.

My semi-gross pet related confession is that my cat gets black dirt caught near/in her nose and it looks like black boogers. I clean it out every few days and DH thinks I'm picking her nose. In a way, I guess I am but it looks really bad if I don't.
I'd tried going commando hiking once. It was awful. I normally wear thongs and I had to go out and buy a bunch of bikini cut underwear before our HM because thongs + mountains are bad news bears too.

<div> </div><div>Me too! Except I was in a big hurry to get out the door, so I know what happened. I had a pile of the underwear I was bringing on my bed, and then went about getting the rest of my clothes folded to put in there. I should've just put them straight into the bag but I'm picky and like to put the lightest/thinnest clothing on the top of all the heavier stuff, so I didn't. I must've gotten sidetracked and not noticed the pile still sitting on the bed when I got up to go. </div>
