  • I'm trying to think of specific things Jas but I don't have enough medical know how. I do know there have been a couple House episodes dealing with this subject though. I also read a story where at 7 months out the mother got really sick and then so did the baby. The disease was taking such a toll that the doctors had to give the mother severe drugs to heal her, but which would kill the fetus. She refused to let them abort the baby or give her the drugs and they both died :(

If I were a teacher, I'd hand that out to all of my students. Kids need to learn this or they turn into those ridiculous adults that don't know simple spelling and I hate them.

What do I miss about being single? Go out to parties and being crazy. H is a homebody, but I'm fairly social. We usually just hang out at home. When I was single, I was all over the place.

    True dat.

About TV: Ben and I watch a lot of shows on our own - but we watch some together.  He doesn't mind watching my shows, and I am getting into shows he likes too.  So we watch American Idol, Biggest Loser, The Office.  Rent a lot of TV on DVD.  He'll watch the Kardashians, Intervention and Kendra with me and I'll watch the Vikings, Deadliest Catch and Ghost Hunters with him.

It all adds up to - we watch WAY too much television.

It's completely relative to the situation. I'm talking about serious, life-threatening issues. I ran into a very pregnant classmate from HS and she told me her baby was completely brain dead and would not likely survive the delivery. But the pregnancy occurred after the ban on partial birth abortion. It was just a very, very unfortunate situation.

Well, I believe in ghosts :) So I tend to think it's real. I like watching Paranormal State, too.  I like Ghost Hunters because it's usually about trying to debunk something or seeing if a place is actually haunted - and being kinda matter of fact about it.  In Paranormal State they are mostly about helping people who are being haunted and are scared by it.

But of course - it's TV.  Some of it's got to be staged, I think.  But I don't mind :)  I believe most of it.
