Evening thread

I think we have the same mattress, Angel. It's so so comfy, except there's a major dip on one side because I tend to sleep more to one side than in the middle. I probably ought to flip it, but I always forget.

There is a store right now that is having a good "sale" on them. I say "sale" because I can't tell if it's discounted or if it's just a 36 month/ no interest thing and while I REALLY want one, I don't know that I want one bad enough to put on credit.

I would love to get a new mattress, but since plans right now are to move in less than 3 years, we can't justify spending money on a new, good mattress that will cost us an arm and leg to move with us.

Leisel, that sounds really interesting. There are so many different facets of campaigns that can be really fascinating.

Crash, you might want to ask about their floor models too. I bought a Sterns & Foster pillow top for 50% off full price that way. Didn't even have a mark on it and had only been on the floor for a month or so.

Hey ladies. I just ate a shiitton of rainier cherries that were fantastic. Now I'm just being lazy. I did my p90x workout earlier and probably would have been tired from that alone. But then we had a tree cut down today and they left the wood for us to burn. I didn't think they were leaving it as thick as the trunk, which luckily was a thinner tree. But since it was at the front of the house we wanted the wood in the backyard. So i got to go buy a wheelbarrow, load the huge logs in it, and wheel it to the back and stack them. Some of them were too heavy to lift and I had to try and roll them into the wheelbarrow while on it's side. And I gave up with a few left because it was too hot. But holy eff that shiiit is hard. And now my back is on fire. Holy eff my H owes me like 6 months of back rubs.

I used to get the cheeseburger dippers as an appetizer at BWW and then they stopped offering them on the menu. I mean, they looked and sounded positively revolting, but good Lord those things were tasty.

We financed our mattress. We could have paid for it upfront if we wanted to, but it was 4 years, no interest, so why NOT not part with that huge chunk of money if we didn't have to?

ANd I agree that mattresses are worth spending a lot for. We splurged on our bed (we got a SleepNumber, and one of the nicest ones) because ideally you spend 1/3 of your life in bed, and quality of sleep effects quality of life. That sounds lame, but it's true!

Angel, you're lucky you'll see them even that fast! Ours took like 4 weeks before we saw any. But I totally know how you feel because our "love inspired showcase" (aka wedding picture slideshow) will be available by the end of this week and I can. not. wait.

Yeah, my photographer is pretty fast. He's been known to blog engagement pics the very next day sometimes. Of course, not mine, haha. He said we'll have all the pictures by the end of next week, which is awesome. I'll probably wake up at the crack of dawn on Thursday to stalk the blog. I hope I like the pictures... he took a lot of us looking at one another and I'm not a fan of profile shots because I hate my nose, so we'll see.
