Help me waste my evening away

Today is my lazy worthless day. The only things I've accomplished today is a run, eating leftovers, and grocery shopping (during which I whined the whole time through, ha). I'm not ashamed.

Today was more productive than I thought it would be. I finished my TYs, sorted through my left over stationary, and went through all my wedding pics and AWed (yes, I consider that being productive). I am just about to put some laundry in, then see about dinner.

I am being a slug. Although, I HAVE done two loads of laundry and went to the c-store for a fountain Diet Dr. Pepper, to which I am completely addicted.

Plan to go do some cardio in a bit; not sure if it will be at the gym or outside. It's pretty nice out, so leaning toward outside.

Pringles can totally count for dinner. My H is making dinner because he's awesome. Or maybe because he wants to get some action. I can never tell.

Oh, I read a lot today. The book I'm reading got crappy reviews on Goodreads, but I like it so far. i think I'm so hooked because I'm trying to figure out if I like or dislike the main character.

H was watching shoenice do a pringles challenge on youtube last night, so it was stuck in my head when I went grocery shopping. Next week I will start eating better! hahaha

I need to change the laundry. H is getting on my nerves. After being on vacation all week he waited until last night to tell me he didn't have clean work shirts...so I did a load...today he comes home from work and asks me to wash a specific pair of shorts, because he doesn't like the ones that are clean. I know I am behind on laundry but he is being a pain. (oh I have to air dry all of his clothes because that's the way his mom did it).

it's actually probably not what you think, either. It's like regular tomato salsa with cherries in it too. It sounds really weird, but it adds just enough sweet to be a nice combo with the acidic, slightly spicy, salty salsa. Bought it ready made in Door County (they put cherries in EVERYTHING there) but I might try to make my own when my tomatoes and jalapenos are ready.

Cetaphil makes me break out too. I think because I never feel like I get it all off. It always leaves a film on my face. Gross.

If it helps, I can tell you what we told our DJ. They HAD to play Jump On It (I know, but it's sort of our college friend group's theme song), and they could not play any Outkast, even if people requested it, and they could not play the Cha Cha Slide, unless it was requested, and if they did play it, they could not play it more than once.

Oh, and Eags? Don't bust your brain too hard trying to come up with dancing songs and such. If your DJ is even half good at his or her job, they will know what to play and when. Just get your specific requests on there. Don't overthink it.

Hey ladies. I had a very unproductive day. Talked with H for a bit, went to Home Depot, and tried to attack some weeds a bit. My allergies are finally starting to calm down a bit, so hopefully tomorrow I'll feel better. I should go for a run or a walk but I'm just not feeling it right now.

Want to know how talented I am? I slammed a cabinet door right into my face today. It caught me right in the temple and on the cheekbone that I broke last year, and it slammed my teeth together so hard. My head and jaw hurt still. I'm pretty sure it will bruise and people will think my husband beats me.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the stink out of my workout clothes? I use all tech fabrics, and they hold smells so well, even when they're clean. I have super super sensitive skin, so I can only use All Free and Clear detergent. I put vinegar in with them as well, but it still doesn't get it all.

Eagles, I am terrible with names of songs, our band gave us a play list and we went through and crossed off what we didn't like by listening to it on you tube. Seemed to work okay.

I hate Outkast so so so much. Like, I would rather listen to commercials or turn the radio off when they come on. The songs are SO annoying to me. And they make me want to break things, not dance.

But I love Chris Brown. Ha.

well the first load is hanging. I think i screwed up and washed the beige shorts instead of the brown ones...ah well he will have to wait until tomorrow for those. I wouldn't mind hanging stuff up, but we live in a condo and I have to hang them on the shower curtain rod. This means I have to make sure I don't put too much of his stuff in a load, or it will break the rod.

edie: we have a washer and dryer in our unit...so I just have to pay the electricity for it...which to me is completely worth it hahaha.

I think that the only songs we actually requested were the Father/Daughter and First dance songs. It was mostly older stuff though - which suits me just fine. My mother did request the chicken dance though.

My mother washes everything with baking soda - her clothes, her hair, her dog... It must work because she, my dad, nor the dog stink when I go home.
