Re: Thursday night

• Hah, Lizzie Borden. I wonder if I share a birthday with any murderers or something. I mean, well known ones.

Ohh, Angel those are both really pretty.  I understand why you are having a hard time deciding.  I think I may like the top one a little bit better, but they are both great.

I'm probably going to watch puy cam all the time. I miss having a pup in my house :( my pup cuddled with me when H wouldn't, literally the best.

We're Married!! And I couldn't be happier!
• Angel - of those two I like #2 best.
• In Response to Re:Thursday night:
I love it when people talk about bees. nbsp;JCB sent me a pair of black and yellow striped slippers. nbsp;I'll have to AW them on Facebook one of these days. Posted by edielaura
. I had a very zen moment yesterday watching bees buzzing flower to flower. It was magical. I couldn't get over how evolution has these two beautiful things working so well together, both needing the other for survival.

• There's actually a 3rd one I liked too, which was the other one everyone voted on, but 3 is just excessive, haha.

Posted by angelstar975
I did a research paper on Lizzie. She used being female to get off from a conviction. Oh those bloody rags you found, officer? Those are just from my cycle. AND THE AUTHORITIES NEVER CHECKED TO SEE IF SHE WAS LYING. Lizzie was smart, I like her.

• Okay - Jambalaya straight from NOLA. Obviously you can substitute any meats for some good veggies or even leave them out if you wanted to. You could probably also sub the beef broth for veggie broth.

Ingredients:
1 can French Onion soup
1 can Beef Broth
1/2 cup Shallots (green onions)
1 small can Tomato Sauce
1 stick melted Margarine
I small box Uncle Ben's Converted Rice (16 oz)*
1 1/2 teaspoons Tony Chachere
1 teaspoon minced Garlic
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Parsley
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 lb Chicken**
1 lb Sausage**

*This is what the recipe uses. However, any rice that you have on hand will be fine. I used Jasmine rice for mine.
**You can also use shrimp, ham, or whatever you have in place of these meats.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F
Combine ingredients in a baking dish and stir
Cover and put in oven for 45 minutes
Take out and stir
Put back into oven for another 45 minutes

Be sure not to uncover during cooking except for the ONE time you are stirring.
• can't....stop....watching....puppies!
• Angel - I like the first one because it has so many pictures of you two. The second one is really pretty; I just like the first one better.
• Sorry about the weird formatting on the recipe guys. I copy pasted from my blog lol.

Angel - I really do like Aryns idea of sending out both.

• Rsana - I freaking love it. The recipe makes a lot of jambalaya. And quite honestly I could have eaten it all on my own. I happily ate it for both lunch and dinner for two days straight.
• I'm so hungry right now... I can't decide what I want to eat. Plus, I don't really feel like going to get anything.

• I have so much food in the house. I found a recipe for easy fried rice that would give me leftovers for a day or two. It called for 3 cups of cooked rice. I wasn't thinking, so when I made the rice I put in 3 cups of uncooked rice. Which makes like 9 cups of cooked rice. I have so much rice.

I've never had jambalya, but when I went to New Orleans last year it was the one thing I really wanted to try, but ended up not being able to.  So I'm super excited to try it.

• Poke, that recipe sounds great! I'm going to try it soon! Can you fb message it to me so I have it if TK gets hungry later? :)

Edie, there are TONS of bees around my garden right now. I always think of you when I'm out there.

Angel, I love that first STD. Your pictures are so pretty.

And, hi everyone! I'm ordering hair extensions from ebay. The last set I got were awesome, but they're DARK and way too long.

• Haha, Poke, that's hilarious. That totally sounds like a cooking mistake I would make!

Hi Sara! Do you have a link to the hair extensions? I'm considering them for the wedding if my own hair isn't long enough. Hopefully it will be, but we'll see.

• Hello! I'm being lazy today. I just finalized plans to go visit my grandpa on Saturday, which I'm really looking forward to. He and I are very close, and I haven't seen him in a while, so I'm excited to get to spend some time with him.

• ok I am done watching puppies.  I should be cleaning, but I have a headache.

I bailed on going out with H tonight to a tap takeover at a pub about 40 mins away.  I think he is bummed we aren't going, but after sitting in the waiting room at my mom's appointment all day today I just can't do it.
• Sure Sara - no problem!

I'm excited for you Leisel. I get to see my grandfather either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Woot.
• That's understandable, Hockey. How did things go today?

I make a full recipe of the dressing, then bake the vegetables and cook the farro in 1 serving increments.  You can also do it with spinach and it'sstill good.
Also, I love this blog for vegetarian inspration.

<div>Grandpas are the best :) I usually get to see mine pretty often, he only lives about an hour away. But he has some health issues and the heat has been so bad lately that he's pretty much been stuck in his house. So hopefully it's not crazy hot this weekend and we can actually venture outdoors for a bit.</div>
• Sorry about your headache Hockey.
Angel, get both.

<div>Aww, I hope it's a nice mild weekend. My grandfather is in decent health considering he's smoked all his life. </div>
• I'm jealous you guys have grandparents close by. My mom's parents/family lives in NJ, and my dads whole family lives in N. Ireland. We don't see them much, but facebook is our friend!
