Bay, I am feeling for you on the work schedules. My FI works crazy hours too especially over most holidays. He has told me that it makes if much easier for him to do it if I do not get bummed and give him a hard time about it. He reminds me that he is doing it for us. Concentrate on enjoying your family and in 2 weeks and 5 days you will have that boy all to yourself..... COZUMEL.

Thanks guys. It was really hard for me to be that blunt. I try not to be so wordy, or straight forward if it might end up in someone hating me, but those callouts were just so freaking ridiculous. It was crap A never once acknowledged things about herself but expects everyone else to answer to her, but whatever, it felt good to say that since it was bugging me for a while.

Morning! Today is my thursday!

Poor H is working at a gym right now, so he has to do all his work when the gym is closed. Poor guy painted from 10pm to 6:30 am this morning and then came home and crashed. I feel bad for him.

Ski I agree. Obviously Bay's H isn't happy about working the holidays, but it does make it harder to have to go in when the people around you are negative about it (not saying you're being a negative nelly around him Bay). Just remember to try and be positive about the other fun things going on this weekend. This coming from a girl who used to be a banquet server and no vacation requests were allowed betweeen Thanksgiving and New Years.

I'm catching up on the PS drama now and Stacks, you're a genius.

With FI's award, I guess it's so they can arrange time, hotels, etc. Probably to keep them in anticipation too. They submit their own stories and photographs to be considered so at least he knows it's one of those things. He's hoping it's a certain basketball picture that was amazing.

Ok, so since it's just Lucas and I for Christmas what should I make? I told him I would make one big meal and asked him if he'd rather have brunch or a mid day meal. He chose mid day. I need suggestions that aren't turkey/ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, etc. Now go...

Ps: I was thinking lasagna, but I'm not sold on it yet.

Habs, she is adorable. I want a kitten so bad. H was just saying last night that he loves how chill Whisky is, that he's not a crazy cat knocking shiit over all the time or attacking your ankles. He said in the future he wants a Sir Whisky clone. I need to find a way to make this happen.

MK how about a really good cut of steak, possibly a filet wrapped in bacon, you could serve it with a potato and some type of yummy vegetable. My FI love a "meat and potato" meal. Go to a butcher and get a really good cut. nom nom, I love me some good steak.

The only things about the disclaimer is then some people will unfortunately let their curiosity get the best of them.

Ski I'm with you on the steak thing, sounds delicious. Christmas eve we always have pot roast, it takes 2 seconds to make involving a roast, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, and a package of french onion soup mix.

Habs, glad the kitten thing is going to work out. Kittens and puppies are soooo much fun. The kids talked me into a kitten and then a month later a puppy, it was so much fun to watch them interact and grow up together (both now 4, the animals not the kids). They have no idea they are not supposed to be best buddies.

Nope. I work for a really cheap company. We get the bare minimum. I'm hoping they let us out early, but I've been let down before. We get Monday off, though. And then the next Monday off for New Year's, so I have two four day weeks coming up.
