FI and I live LDR, so when I go to his place, we go at it a lot. But when he comes here, he stays at his parents house, and I live with my parents, so we don't get much sexytime And the worst part is, I haven't been to visit him for almost 2 months. 2 FREAKING MONTHS. Im going to visit him next Thursday. Can't. Wait.
Ok, my dog just did the funniest yawn ever. Sometimes she squeals a bit when she yawns, but this one was a full on "Awweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" high pitched squeal, and scared the crap out of me. Apparently she wanted attention.

Screw all of you with healthy LDR sex lives! I think it was the pressure that got to us then and then when we moved in with each other we were just used to not doing it.
Loops - just another OR nursing position. right now I drive about 50 miles roundtrip to work, this would be about 8. i really don't want to go back to a hospital for a variety of reasons, but I'm just going to check it out.

Aleigh I've heard of people scheduling sexy time and apparently it works really well. Sounds like it would be a pain, but I guess it gives them something to look forward to/get worked up for.

H and I are once or twice a week... I'm a morning person.. but not a work morning.. H would like more but we never go to bed at the same time at night during the week either.
Loopy, I'm sure that's the main reason. And I'm stressed out about a few wedding things with FI too. He doesn't see the urgency in figuring some stuff out like I do, but I also don't feel like I can just make these decisions without him. Then I get irrational and am all "doesn't he care about the wedding?!?!"
I would be fine if it was just once a week. HOnestly, I'm too tired during the week a lot of the time. I like weekend morning sex. But I also like to sleep in. Instead of waking me up, H just gets out of bed and goes about his day. So I miss out.
"In the old days my ass would be in your back yard picking cotton, so excuse me if I don't put much stock in how f*cking awesome the old days were." -Nuggs
I usually try to catch him before he's showered on the weekends in the morning. That's when I prefer it.
I will tell you all that we had an open conversation about our sex lives and what we want and don't want, what we like and don't like. It happened in the car one day running errands. As soon as we got home he was all over me like I'd opened some sort of flood gate. (Sorry if that's TMI).
But my point is that if we had tried to have that conversation face to face over a table and not in a car side by side it might not have gone as well. I coule be honest and not necessarily look at him to see his reactions. It was strange, but liberating at the same time.
ETA: I also feel like I've read or heard somewhere that men respond and are more open when they're not having to communiate face to face.
Also, totally off topic but I'm collecting addresses for my STDs and my cousin (well, 1st cousin once removed technically but whatev) just gave me theirs. I knew he was well off, but I just google mapped his house and holy SH!T. It's friggin huge. He lives in TN so never saw it before.
I guess that is what you get when you hunt & fish with country music stars.
