When we went from 2 to 7 the conversation went something like -

Honey my friend died and Animal Control was going to take her cats, can you believe that? And, from there he was hooked and he's better to them than I am. He's such a softie when it comes to animals.

It's going! I love hanging out with him all day. How are things up your way?

Thanks, Meg. I'm trying not to be overly obnoxious with the pictures. :P

I love to play cornhole, but I'm not skilled at all.

Can't you make your own bags?

• We need new cornhole boards for the football season. Somehow last season they were destroyed.

This is kind of what ours will look like, but one will say USF and the other will say Bulls.

Steffie, it's more expensive to buy the corn and fabric than it is to buy them, since the right kind of corn isn't sold in small bags.

One of my friends looked into it when we were making his boards. Really, I'm just too lazy to do it myself and I'd rather just order them.

• Wait, so do you throw corn stuffed bags through them? Like bean bags sort of? I've never heard of this before.

Yeah. Getting it through the hole is worth 3 points and getting it on the board is 1 point. You play in teams of two on opposite boards against a member of the other team. The points cancel each other out each round. So say I got 2 in the hole, 1 on the board and missed the other whereas you got 3 in the hole and missed the other one, you would get 2 points.
• I'm never the scorekeeper. I can't ever pay attention well enough. We want to make scoreboard/beer holders for our friend's birthday.

I love this game! We registered for it. It's one of those that we will buy if we don't get it lol.
• Interesting. I like that you are making your own, A. I think that's cool.

I am really excited. I have an appt with my boss (I work for a custom builder) to look at a fixer upper H and I want to purchase. I am getting him to give me an estimate for the work I want to do to flip it. It's an awesome house. 2100 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and is a well built house, just totally outdated. I want so bad. I hope the price he gives me is below the one in my head. lol.

• That's exciting, Habs! Did you guys just buy a condo, or are you in an apartment? I can't remember.

[QUOTE]A - I have a VERY small window of being awesome. It directly correlates to how many beers have been consumed. That's awesome that y'all built that though. H kept saying he was going to (he mastered the art of building HUGE beer pong tables that were handpainted in college), but I broke down and just got him one for Christmas.

• I've never heard it called baggo or cornhole. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I've ever heard it called anything lol.

Habs that sounds so awesome! Hopefully it works in your favor.

What style of house is it? I love houses and looking at real estate.

The entire redeeming quality of the house we own is the 10'4" ceilings and we're putting in vaulted ceilings.

I have a love/hate relationship with the house, it predates me and we had some issues with what he wanted vs what I wanted and coming to an agreement in the middle early on. Our house is an early 1900's craftsman with some Victorian features and is said to be a Sear's catalog house, but I can't verify that. It's shody built, I can verify that and I know far more about rebuilding than I ever planned to know!

• Morning.

My allergies are making me miserable, so I overslept, thus making it completely useless for me to attempt to get to class (it's almost two hours away). Since I'm unexpectedly staying home, I decided to tackle the mountain of laundry that has taken over our BR. I broke the door to the laundry closet. Fabulous.

If anyone would like to deliver coffee to my house, I'd appreciate it.
• A - We are renting in a townhome right now. I mean, there's no rush to get out or anything. It's right in town, it's brand new, 3bdrm, 1.5 bath and a garage, but the rent is increasing and for what we pay including utilities, we may as well be in something we can build some equity in. So we are looking around and my mind went CRAZY when I walked into this place. It was like an artist looking at a blank canvas and someone saying "Go". The potential for this place is insane.

• Oh, and Adamar, you can get the corn at a feed store for about $12. That's what I use for my (whisper) Etsy shop, and it's pretty cheap. I think it came in a 40 or 50 pound bag. I get it at Tractor Supply.
• Ahh, a townhouse. I think that's what was throwing me off. Well that's good that you're renting and it'll be easier to get out if you need to jump on this place.

• Steffi - It's a split level, with a large living room on the main floor as you walk in the house. That is vaulted over the entire structure including the kitchen/dining on the upper floor (only 3' above living room and overlooking the living room) and through 2 bedrooms. The master is on the main floor with a small 2 piece and a small closet. I want to keep that, make it a guest room and smash out some walls upstairs and transform the current small bedroom with MASSIVE bathroom into a master with a full ensuite. There are two bedroom downstairs (the basement is 1/2 above grade, so it's bright) and a rec room. There is also a 3 car garage and a deck that walks out from the dining that is enormous. It's on 3 acres of land too. I am a designer, so my I am having a hayday with this place.

• A - our lease is up in august, and we've already payed for our last month, but we can go month to month on our rent coming up, which is sweet, so we can get out at any time.
