  • Whit I'm actually finding it a lot harder to get motivated to workout now that I DON'T have a regular schedule, because it's no longer something that's scheduled like work. I can do it whenever at this point so I find myself pushing it off or getting distracted by other things.

[QUOTE]JK - I appreciate all the information you give about weight loss and working, especially on the GIS board. I usually lurk there more than post but I have gotten a lot of info from that. Whit, I find it easier when I have working out as part of the regular schedule, too. If I change into gym clothes at work, I always follow through.

Hey thanks!  I can only handle so much of that board at a time, and only when I'm feeling my most patient, but I do enjoy the not crazy people there.

  • KJB,

I have missed you. I might be a bit bitter that you haven't been around, but I'm willing to look past it. It might be due to your gams, but whatever.

    Love,
    Me. < /><

  • Changing into gym clothes at work is a good idea. I shall add packing a gym bag to my list of things to do before I go to bed. That's an easy one.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: A night thread would be cool... : Can you find those in stores or did you have to get them online? I started the oil cleansing two weeks ago and I'm not sure if I should change the oils or change the ratio but something for breakouts would be great. Oh yeah, and hi everyone. :)

Tea tree you can get at Target (by the vitamins and stuff) and the grapeseed I got on Amazon.  They last forever.  If you don't want to mess with your ratio, you can dilute the tea tree oil with water (start with a 1 part TTO to 10 parts water ratio because it can be drying) and use it as toner after you cleanse.

Sorry Fishy.  Hate is the wrong word.  Insane jealously is better.

  • We have an exercise room AT work. It should be so easy for me to work out....
  • Tell me what's up in Kelly world.  How's the job?
  • I just use some exfoliating cleanser in the shower. I've got pretty average skin though so I haven't felt a need to research any other options. The oil thing intrigues me though.

  • I'm not a fan of people who don't have to worry about their skin, either. But in my teens and twenties I bragged about having great skin, so....my bad. But yea, Fish, friends off until you get a pimple.

Erin that's like how every apartment I ever lived in for 4 years had a free gym and I think I used the collective gyms about 5 times maybe.

  • Nothing exciting.  Job is fine.  I don't hate it as much as the last one.  Of course, I'd rather not have to work at all, but I suppose this will do.  It's 3 12s too, so I like only working 3 days a week.  I still have a kitty looking for a home - I'm sending him down to South Carolina with H in February, GG will get a surprise on her doorstep.

  • I'm all broken out from the sunscreen I slathered on all week for my HM. But, I have a nice glow now from the sun so its a tradeoff. NO sunburn either! I was so proud of myself and my religious sunscreen application.

<div>Same. I wash in the shower, do a little toner, then oil of olay. I don't wear foundation either, though I probably should. </div>
  • What do you do with your other 4 days?
  • I also get a pimple whenever I talk about not getting pimples. Like I was telling Eagles when we were in Sephora how I haven't broken out since I started oil cleansing, and then I was all "watch, I'm going to get a pimple tomorrow cause I talked about it." And bam. Monday morning chin pimple.
  • go to estate sales :)  drink wine.  lunch.  general debauchery.

  • Just going to pretend I didn't read that Eagles and Mel had a GTG.

  • I'm hoping this apartment we're looking at on Saturday has a gym in the community, but I'm thinking because it's not listed as an amenity it doesn't have one.

You like how I slipped that in there? We live like 30 minutes away from each other. It was a long time coming.

  • I want to lunch.

It's a stretch for me to even leave the house on my days off, much less get all done up to lunch.
