Oh There You Are!

Re: Oh There You Are!

  • Yeah, I cried a lot yesterday when they left. Less today, but I still feel like I'm "grieving".  I remembered Steffi talking about bear macing the dog and got so fuuuucking angry. I wanted to punch someone. I mean, I was angry when I read it, but it made me so much more angry when mine were gone.
  • Ah, that makes sense Poke. Many hugs to you <3

Heb -- We used some bacitracin on them, so antibiotic cream anyway!

    Aww Poke :(

Musu- Good to hear. Some are afraid to use neosporin on their pets, but we had taken my old pup to a derm. and they said it's fine. Just wanted to make sure you knew.

  • Stupid commute.

Aryn, if you're still here, sleeper community means we commute into town.

Now back to what I've missed.

  • Thanks Heb!

Just a random question for all gathered that was discussed on Christian weddings today (I am semi reg there)... would you care if your H/FI told you that he got something for free (drink at starbucks, vending machine food, etc) from a random girl who was being friendly to him at that moment? Or would you be uncomfortable if it was the reverse and it was you?

This girl was really upset about this vending machine operator that was friendly and gave her a free water bottle. And said she would be "ill" if it happened to FI with a girl. I thought it was kind of ridiculous (the guy said nothing suggestive and just made friendly conversation).

I wouldn't care even the chick hit on him while doing it.  It's a free something, and that's awesome ;)

Guys used to buy me drinks at the bar all the time in college.  H (was BF then) didn't care at all, because then he didn't have to buy them (not that he HAD to, but he usually did).  And he knew who I was going home with.

  • For something that innocuous, she's overreacting.
  • IMusu,I'm glad. Poor baby.I always worry when I see people walking their dogs on the pavemnt here in the summer.

  • Haha thats awesome, J.

Thats my perspective too. J gets hit on a lot and I don't really care. I'd care if it was someone that he saw on a daily basis, probably, but not a random stranger for 30 seconds.

  • Musu, I think I'm the type that would give my SO props. Maybe even a high-five. However, I would get free stuff (primarily alchohol or Starbucks) sometimes and the X was not a fan.
  • Nah, I wouldn't care. I like free stuff too much. Now if she grabbed his groin or something, then I'd be upset (depending on what the free stuff was, of course ;) ).

Oh man, I would totally high five him.

<div>I would not care either, now. But I could see my old, immature, first started dating, self getting pissy over it.  I've grown up a lot in the passed 5 years.</div>

That's a little silly. I saw a cute little Mario figurine at a game store when I was out shopping with MIL last time I was there. He gave it to me for free and wrote his number on the back. MIL and I giggled a lot. H laughed then promptly claimed it for himself. It still sits on his desk by his computer.

ETA: He being the guy working there.
  • Oh Poke.  Please feel free to visit the convection oven I live in any time and you can snuggle with the Meathead.  He's not good for much but he is good at snuggling.

Musu, have you looked into those booties for Willow?  I know it's funny, but they do protect their poor little (or big, as the case may be) paws.

<div>First off, that chick is nutters, as evidenced by her appearance over on SB to call us all whores. Oh wait, no, she probably should've said sluts. Her bad.</div><div>
    </div><div>Second, nope, I sure wouldn't. I love free drinks, who am I to hold a double standard?</div>
  • Musu - I don't think I would care.

I just had to download Chrome since IE and my mobile put me in the alternate universe. I take my Knot career seriously.

  • Hehe, have you seen videos of dogs wearing booties Girlie? They're hilarious.
  • OH speaking of poor Willow, I did not ever get her text last night.

  • Oh hey, I just realized that the poster was SugarFoote so I guess its no surprise that she reacted that way.

Girlie -- I've seen those! We've never had an issue til now though. From now on we'll make sure she doesn't spend so much time on those hot stones without taking dips in the pool or just making sure its very short time.

[QUOTE]Evening. MuSu, major over-reaction on her part.  Ill?  Really? I mean people feel how they feel, but at the end of the day, harmless...free drink giving, is just harmless.  <strong>She did not go and give the guy a BJ after the free water.</strong>

You have absolutely no way of knowing this for sure ;)

My H is watching some youtube golf swing video, and the guy keeps saying "waggle."  I'm dying.  What a weird word.

<div>Well obviously. I've at least got to get an energy drink or something if I'm going to give a BJ for it. </div>
  • I used to get phone numbers left on the receipts when I was waiting tables (while planning my wedding to H).  I always had my ring on, and usually just laughed about the ones who left a crummy tip and then wrote their name and number on the ticket.
  • So this is where everyone's been! My phone was showing me a really boring universe.

I had a really boring day at work today. I had to fold hundreds of birthday cards that the Congressman I'm working for sends out to donors on their birthdays. Fun stuff.
  • Whaaat you didn't get it? Well I'll resend even if its a day late. ;)

<div>I had a customer call the Pizza Hut I used to work at to ask me to have a threesome with him and his girlfriend once. I was like "Uh, I'm flattered and all, but I'm married and I reeeeally don't think my husband would be okay with it." He was actually really polite and nice about it, I almost felt kind of bad, lol.</div>
