Hey there. I am about 5 1/2 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I are thinking of getting married before the baby comes. We haven't officially decided but I'm a little scared of how I will look in a wedding dress if I'm preggo. Where will I find one? And how will I be able to get one I'll still fit into a few months down the road. It will be a quick wedding but I still want the dress and flowers and stuff. (OH and cake because me and the baby love cake) I don't want to wait 'till after the baby because I'm not entirely sure that it's my FH's baby and I don't want it to be born darker (if you know what I mean) and then he'll leave me.
Thanks for your answers

......?
Just wondering where I can get maternity dresses? Did anyone else go thru this, too?
Posted by tabimcbride
No - but I also never cheated on my husband
Well he's not my husband yet and we broke up for alittle while and I'm pretty sure it's his but I just want to know about the dresses.

And you can't tell him the baby might not be his because...?
Can't help you on dresses as I've never been pregnant nor knew anyone who was getting married while pregnant
SapphireBaby - Thank you!! I'm just a little bit obsessed with our photographers, they are amazing!! And I know what you mean about the quickie marriage... doesn't exactly set the foundation for a lasting & loving marriage!
And Tabim - I just went to a wedding where my friend was 6 months pregnant and she looked beautiful, I'm not sure where she got her dress though.
well he knows it's a possiblity but neither of us knows for sure of course. I mean he wants to marry me either way but I'm scared he's just saying that but then leave me after the baby if we're not already married.

Being married isn't going to stop him from leaving you ya know?

THIS
maybe you should consider exactly why you are getting married
Don't listen to them. Everyone knows that a marriage is like a good antibiotic ointment. It doesn't matter what has gotten into the wound before, because the neosporin will heal it all right up!
You should definitely go ahead and get married. You wouldn't want him to leave you just because the baby isn't his! I mean, really, what right would he have to do that? Better lock him in now, before the baby is born. For better or worse, right?
tafft - there you go being all reasonable-like and actually offering advice! Can't we just talk about my possible TTD pictures instead?

Actually yes we can haha , that makes me sad that your photographer didn't do the justice you deserved and most likely paid for , that's really sad and a shame. Our photographer is actually a high school friend of FI and MOH , i would ask around friends and family if possible , never know where you might find a gem. i like talking about you way more than MUD girl. ;)
I need to start gathering some inspiration photos so I have an idea of what I want to do
If you are insistent on going ahead, get an empire waist dress and a good pre-nup.
