Re: TELL ME ABOUT A TIME A CHILD RUINED YOUR WEDDING!!!

  • I don't know about the rest of you, but weddings are about celebrating with family and friends. I don't understand excluding kids for "your day".  I am actually hoping my ring bearer and flower girl don't act "appropriately"... that is what makes it real life! :-)

Now this? This to me is judgy. Lala, she's all yours.
  • I"ve been to weddings where kids screamed the ENTIRE time during the ceremony and I just wanted to yell at the parents to tell the kids to STFU or leave.

    So I'm more anti-stupid parents than anti-kids.

If you want to know about the rest of us, just read the thread.  It's a brides choice.......just own your own choice.
  • for me, weddings are about good food and an open bar and drunken sex afterwards.
  • Well I am late to this one but..
My MOH was telling me that at her cousins wedding the RBs used the pillows to fight and then sat down at the alter because they were tired.
She said it was super cute :)

We are having children at our wedding...heck I am having children as my bridesmaids.

If you don't know about the rest of us, you clearly didn't read.

People have different family dynamics.  Some like kids, some don't.  It's personal preference.

Great for you that you want kids at your wedding and don't care if they misbehave.  That's you.

  • Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality...
  • I actually do remember a time that a child caused a huge ruckus at a wedding I attended, and it was the groom's daughter (flower girl).  She was four, and realized during the reception that she wasn't the center of attention, so she screamed, cried, and threw a fit for about two hours.  Nobody could hear the music over her yelling, and she refused to do anything except cling to the groom for the rest of the night.  It was really awkward.

  • Sorry meant that some times the boy is a holy terror, keeping my fingers cross he'll behave but I've babysat him since he was born so want him there
  • Because I'm easy come, easy go. A little high, little low.

  • Dude, right now we have 65 kids on the invitation list. SIXTY-FIVE! I don't even really like kids. I"m hoping most of them can't make it.
  • I actually make my margaritas in my magic bullet. The kitchen kind, not the bedroom kind.
