  • The more important question is who the hell "summers?"

  • I dunno, but I think anyone who actively divides their besties into tiers probably had a bad vacation for a reason.

  • Um, what is "I fell that my posts are ever read."  Is that "I feel that my posts are never read?"

  • I love how summer is a verb now.

I think it might depend on where you live. Here, we use it as a verb all the time as a substitute for vacation[ing].

  • I'm summering right now.
  • Summer is a verb in rich people world.  As in  "Where do you summer?"  Techincally it's a verb in everyone's dictionary but we don't use it often.

When I hear people use summer as a verb, I picture them swirling brandy or something. And holding up a monocle. But maybe that's just me?

  • "To summer" is most certainly an infinitive.  This year we'll be summering in East Hampton.

I thought you were my tier-2 bestie.  That's why I invited you, but now I really wish I hadn't.  Sorry you had to find out this way.

  • I've heard of people using summer as a verb before, but not of someone summering on vacation. That sounds a bit redundant to me.

I was going to say the same thing. Expecially if you "fell" that they are "ever" read. Probably because no one can decipher them.

Has anyone heard of this other website similiar to KPS?   The Secret Society of Women.   http://www.secretsocietyofwomen.com/

It was started by Lisa Ling (the journalist), whom felt women needed a place to reveal their secrets after she miscarried and felt like a "failure" for so long because of it .  The secrets are categorized (work, marriage, children, body image issues, addictions etc.).  I literally spent hours on it the first time.

ETA: Okay, so I went to the website and before you can read anything it asks you to log in.  It didn't require that before.  Sigh.

<div>summering replaces vacation... because you're right, using both in a sentence would be redundant. She is dumb enough to have a 2-tier bestie... so she's definitely dumb enough to use them both in the same sentence.</div>

  • I hope that tier 2 biatch only got invited to dancing after dinner at the wedding.
  • My head hurts from the damn "I fell that my posts are ever read"

    I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS LANGUAGE!!

I get the summer part but I do not really get the tier 2 bestie. I would never want to go on a vacation with someone I did not like completely. Why wouldn't they just go alone?
  • Esqueeze me, but we "holiday" as foreigners, tyvm.
