Good! Spicy food is also supposed to help induce labor :).
Hello everyone. We went to the pool and I started to read a Nora Roberts Book my mom left for me, I can't remember the title. Just hanging at home. We thought about going to the Rays game, but H wanted to be lazy. So I am doing my lesson plans, cleaning, and laundry.
At least this week is a short week at work for me.

Good! I've also read most of his books and they make me laugh so hard, I start to cry. You'll enjoy it!
My weekend has been uneventful. I'm currently trying to convince H that we need to have pizza on the grill for dinner. That would require one of us to go out and get some fresh mozzarella. Not looking promising. My back up is french onion soup and creme brulee, so either way, i'm happy.
Tomorrow I should get to meet lil Andykins, so I'm super excited about that!
And I have never heard of pizza on the grill before, but it sounds yummy. I wish we could have a grill in our apt here. Grills are illegal in apts in GA. I want some creme brulee for dessert. Good stuff.
I have never heard of that kind of bread. You ladies sure know some yummy foods, maybe that is why I get bored with the same old same old.
And Ciara - I love country music. We don't have cable but on one of the dash HD channels here, they have country music videos on all the time and I enjoy watching it when I am bored.
I like some country music but don't listen to it to much as DH associates anything country to deaths in the family. He calls it the music he listens too when he needs a good cry. I just never got into it for some reason and that may because I grew up listening to Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash and what ever was on the popular stations which wasn't country.
I think I need to look more into this The Band Perry and Lady Antebellum.
Hey Ciara! Are you sitting on a towel or waterproof lap pad or something in the car JIC your water were to break? THat would make a nasty smelly mess and probably ruin your seats. Same thing with your mattress. I slept with a waterproof crib pad (the big ones) for the last 3 weeks or so.

That is interesting. I have never heard of anyone associate country music to deaths and dying before. I mean, there are some sad songs, but usually when I am having a bad day, it helps me get through it.
A few of my favorites are Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley. I would love to see any or all of them in concert someday soon.
We also love Johnny Cash and have quite a few of his disks. Lady Antellbellum just came here and they sold out within the first few hours. And they are from right around where we live. One of them even went to the local high school here.

Yes, that song "If I Die Young." I always change the station when it comes on.
I should probably put the extra crib pad in the bed. I hadn't really thought of that. I haven't ridden in the car all that much the last couple weeks since I haven't felt like leaving the house.
Well ladies I'm out of here. My friend is going to pick me up and we are going to go watch her kids play at the pool.
I love Lady A. I went to see them in concert last year with Tim McGraw, but we pulled up just as they started playing. By the time we got inside and to the lawn, they were finished. I was so bent.
Do any of the cat people have a tortie? Are they always so loud? Or is it just cause this one is probably KU and/or not happy about being in a bathroom all by herself? I've have quite a few fosters and none have been so loud!
I had a tortie and now she is with my parents. we adopted her when she was four or five and she was/is very quiet. I would blame it on being in the bathroom by itself.
Fish, I put a link in the Kindle thread for you last night. That book Wings is still free, and it's free on the Nook too. I liked it, it was pretty light hearted, and definitely an easy read.
I just got home from playing soccer a little bit ago. Now I'n waiting for H to get out of the shower so we can run to the store.
I did a lot of relaxing this weekend, and laundry, and just got back from the grocery store. But mostly I just hung out with my pup and wished FI wasn't ALWAYS working (there until 10pm last night and is there right now)
Fische - have you read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum Series? I'm on book #4 and they're super quick and funny - plus I love a good series.
MoneyPenny - I miss Marathon Monday (though the weather in Charlotte doesn't make me miss Boston in the winter). If I were you, I'd blow off work and go drink beers in Kenmore all day Working in Copley gave me the best excuse to do that - no way I was making it into work!

I've just started adding some running back into my training this past week, though.

I'm no help with the book suggestions. Just popped in to say Hi, I'm bored.
I'm watching Top 20 on VH1 and I'm really liking some of these country artists that I have never heard.
