H loves that instant oatmeal crap. I cannot eat it. One morning, I made steel-cut oats and added a bunch of chopped fruit and some maple syrup. That was the first time I had more than one bite of it. I actually finished the whole bowl without barfing. Progress.

</div><div>Oatmeal is for sure an acquired taste. I don't mind instant oatmeal, but I don't make it according to the instructions on the box - it gets too watery that way. I also add granola and fruit on top, which helps.

• Rach, it stretched out in the chest area so now I feel like I need a bra, but it's still kinda tight in the waist. I'm retaining water, so I'm trying to chug a ton of water today and eat mostly fruit and veggies. I don't know how much that's going to do in a day, but it's all I can do. The dress zips and everything, it's just not going to be comfortable if I want to actually eat at the wedding, haha.

Many times? Hm.

Grits are delicious. I've had them at the Waffle House and they were bomb.
We have a Gastro Pub here that does some with shrimp and they are so good!

• Since you are all bored, and all seem to think I'm cray cray, how about everyone tell me what their probelm is with me. I'm not beyond owning it, if you can be specific, and give me ideas on how to resolve the issue.

As far as the princess thing goes, I think its pretty obvious that I was agreeing with what Special said, in regards to parents raising their children to be entitled brats, aka, princesses. Entitled brats tend to think they get a free pass at anything and everything, and in adulthood, this often translates into relationship issues.
• In Response to Re:FFF:
If you hate grits, you just haven't had them made right. Hmph.Angel has it started to fit any better? Posted by rachers1017
Its mostly a texture issue for me!

• Rach, that fucking sucks.  I get ragey over anyone using god as an excuse to be a diiiick.
• i hated grits.  til i had them with shrimp and chorizo.  and now i like can't stop thinking about them somedays.

<div>
</div><div>Well for me, it's that what you said had nothing to do with the princess issue we'd discussed earlier. You were talking about a girl on facebook who said "I'm a princess" but allegedly cheated on her boyrfriend so you didn't like that people 'liked' her status. I don't really think that's what anyone thinks of when they say "I don't want my child being into princesses because I don't want her to think that she deserves the life of a princess." I don't see the connection between entitlement stemming from princess movies and cheating, I guess.</div><div>
</div><div>ETA: I don't dislike you or really have a problem with you. It's just that some things you say don't make sense. I generally don't keep track of what everyone says all the time, so really this current princess thing is all I'm looking at. </div>

<div>I have no issue with you, personally, but I'm pretty sure this has been discussed here already?  With examples?  Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm just not sure why you need MORE examples.</div>

• OMG Rach, I'm so sorry. I will never understand why they chose to be such jerks.
• So, if we're still flaming people, Dileni gets on my last nerve. I hate generic flames, but I'm going to do it anway. Something about her just screams I'M NAIVE! LIKE ME!

She seems to only post in chat threads when she wants sympathy over some drama in her life.  I don't see her participating with an interest in other people's lives.
• Kalpi was quite long-winded, but at least she was coherent and sounded reasonably intelligent. Dileni seems baffled by life. That, and her idea that she and her FI are both going to quit working and go to school FT seems...irresponsible. I seriously doubt they have enough savings for that, and living off your student loans isn't really a good idea.

• If she reads this, I predict a foot stomp, a bit of name calling, and a bitching session on her month board.

Does Mari not participate in FFF anymore? She used to until she got flamed.

...I didn't <em>start</em> participating <em>until</em> I was flamed the first time.  It felt like a rite of passage or something.
• I can't decide how I feel about Dileni. She seems nice enough, but I agree she seems a bit clueless and young. And that's coming from a 22 year old (I'm now hoping that you all don't perceive me as being young and naive because then I'd feel like a jackass, haha)

• I had no idea you were 22.
• You do come across as a bit young too, Leisel, but that's okay. You come across as early twenties, while Dileni comes across as...mid teens?
• Yes, ma'am, I'm a youngster.
• This thread just kept me entertained for over half an hour.  Love the random conversation about grits.  I'm picky- I only like grits and oatmeal when they are super thick.  Watery is just blech to me.

I don't have anything to flame though. Just enjoying the conversation.
Anniversary
• I don't think I've seen Mari around at all today so she might just be busy as opposed to avoiding FFF. Or has she consistently not been around for FFF lately?
