  • Lol Nebb.  Fricken trees, jumping out of nowhere and shiit.

I always come dangerously close to tapping people in parking lots.  My mom backed into a power pole one time - it impacted the driver's side door!  My dad was not impressed considering that the deer incident was just the month before and he was going to have to get the door fixed twice within weeks of each other.

  • My opinion: it isn't normal that I got strep throat, then a cold sore, and now an effing cold. I would like to be healthy for like 3 days straight. I hate working in a germ infested profession. Bleh.

  • Number, get a prescription for acyclovir.  I haven't had a cold sore in nearly two years, except a couple weeks ago when I was out of pills!

<div>Do you take it all the time or only when you get one?  Also, I had just thought about how I hadn't had one in like a year and BAM, had one two days later. Jinxed myself!</div>

    And supplement with L-lysine!
  • I'm the worst when I'm moving slow - backing in/out, parking anywhere, going through small spaces where I need to be close to things (parking gates, drive thrus). I'm an excellent driver otherwise lol
  • I just take them when I feel the tingle, number.  You're supposed to take it five times a day for three days when you feel one coming on and you have to drink lots of water with it.

And ditto september on the Lysine!

  • I'm a horrible driver.  I'm absolutely shocked that I haven't gotten an accident yet.  I attribute it to my little bobblehead turtle on my dashboard.  My friend who passed away 5 years ago had bought two when we were in high school. One for me, one for her, for our cars.  I like to think of it as her watching over me :)
  • I'm still catching up but house centipedes and palmetto bugs are one of the main reasons that I don't live in SC right now.

Also, deer in Stevens Point, WI are the biggest assholes of all the other deer.

I'd be tempted to try them, maybe overnight or something, to see if they work.

Ooooh yeah, overnight maybe.  But not daytime.

It doesn't matter how small cold sores are, they still feel enormous and it still feels like everyone stares at them.  I always feel like a pariah when I get one.

I rarely get them ON my lip.  Usually they are off the side of my lip, on my face.  Or between my top lip and my nose.  Or IN my nose.  Wtf.

Every year driving to and from my parents vacation place up there, a deer runs in front of me right when we're getting to Stevens Point. Every.single.freaking.time. Deer are all over the place in Wisconsin, but I've only ever had them run out in front of me in Stevens Point. And it can be right in the middle of the day.

Pirate - I have no idea how up to date this list is, but you can probably call the places and find out:

Scroll down about halfway to "Raleigh Region".

  • I hate noses. That's random but they're gross. Hairy, boogery and frigging sensitive. Noses are stupid.
  • How does one nicely tell a parent on a report card that their kid is a stuck-up brat?
  • And my cold sores are never one big sore, they're always a cluster of smaller ones.  Motherfucker I hate those things!

  • Driving from Phoenix to my home-town, there is one stretch of highway that is so bad for deer & elk and I'm terrified to drive it a dusk or in the evening.  If I have to, I honk my horn about every 10 seconds thinking that will scare the animals away - haven't hit one yet so I think my theory works (or I'm just lucky so far).

Pirate - you're in Raleigh?  I'll be there next Thursday.  I'll be in Asheville on Friday, then Charlotte on Sunday.  I hope NC is as pretty as I've heard because I'm going to be seeing quite a bit of it.  :)

  • Exactly what LP said "Needs improvement in attitude behavior"
  • Chels. Billy is encouraged to think critically about his strengths and weaknesses as a learner and to use teacher feedback to help him improve his perfoance. This is teacher talk for: your kid needs to listen to what I suggest instead of thinking he is perfect.
  • Holy balls, it's 2 pm and I haven't done jack shiit today.  I should get off my ass and do something productive before going out tonight.  Have a good day ladies!
