Good morning!

LVB, I had a bad experience going blonde. I'll post my pic if you put yours back up.

I'm excited because everyone has finally ordered their dresses for my wedding. My mom can't buy off the rack because she's super tall, so she managed to find a dress she likes in a bridal store. My BM had a baby three weeks ago, and had to wait to order her dress. Alfred Angelo usually charges a rush fee to order this late, but the manager waived it and said, "Babies are the exception. They are awesome, and a woman should not be penalized when buying a bridesmaid dress."

Both H and I are so pissed off right now. The fuckers brought him all the way up there, led him on, said things were going well, talking to him like he was part of the team, etc only to call him yesterday while I was driving that he didn't get it. He feels so bad blaming himself for the decision to move down here knowing that I still won't be able to go back to school just yet. He wants to just get through the project they are working on down here and then put in his 2 wks notice, break our lease and move back. I have no flucking clue what we will do for money. His student loans won't wait.

My interviews went well and I hope to hear from them either tomorrow or the first of next week. But if they want me for a second one, I guess I will have to drive again. I dunno. It's all about the timing. And H says he can't look for a job from here b/c when they want him for an interview, it is too hard to get time off b/c his other 2 co-workers have as$loads of vacation time and they just take it whenever the want and that leaves him unable to really have a choice in when he can take his or he has to break it up.

I cried all last night. But I have to be somewhat productive today considering I have oodles of laundry and unpacking to do.

Edit: Stacks, how did your H's job interviews go?

I don't think Ciara has had her baby yet. I saw her 2 nights ago and as of then, no baby.

I'm really sorry about the job for your H. I would be so p*ssed if I were you guys too! That's just awful and heartbreaking.

I'm really sorry. I hope you can get some bites with your job so at least you guys can move up here and have a bit of an income to get you by.

Mr Stack got the job, but it was not even close to the amount he asked for and not doable unless I was working somewhere also. Which isn't really what we wanted. So he officially turned it down this morning, but on the plus side - the manager completely understood and said he still planned on contacting him when a supervisor position came up soon. So we'll see what happens.

Yeah, its pretty frustrating. I mean, we can only speculate about things. They probably hired some young kid fresh out of college with no experience so they could pay him less. We will figure it out, I suppose. He is beginning to think this company isn't for him. You can't stay in a job and a place that you hate forever and they can't keep him here againist his will. I dunno, maybe they want him to quit even though they rave about how good of a job he is doing here.

I am sorry about your H's job, too. At least he got an offer, and hopefully something else will come your way soon.

And yeah, it looks like Ciara is still holding on. I found a thread from the other night.

I had a bad experience going blonde as well in college. I already had blondish hair because I'd been highlighting my hair for years, but I decided to try to do it myself when I was a junior. The highlighting went okay, save for the roots and stuff, so I decided to just do all over color the next time. BIG mistake. I had orange roots and platinum blonde hair. I had to walk around like that for a week before I could get in to see a hairstylist. She was able to tone it down to a blah brown luckily. I never tried to do my own hair again.

Missy, I feel your pain. FI is trying to find a new job, but he can't ever get time off to interview. He barely gets a lunch break. He thinks his current employer is going to offer him a promotion, but we would have to move to PA. I have a year left before I graduate, and I would not be able to move with him.
