The overture from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. My "entrance" involves a boat ride across a "lake" (it's more of an over glorified pond). So I was supposed to pick 2 songs or one long one. This one is like 8 minutes long and it's so beautiful.
I have no idea. Our friend that is doing the ceremony music is preparing something special for me. I'll hear it the first time on the day of. But it's native American flute, which is very meditative and haunting so something along this style.
Thanks ladies you all have great picks! These are my favs.

@dreamergirl8812 love love your entrance and song, I can picture it all! Beautiful!
Here are my picks favorite to least favorite, which one would you choose? FI is going to narrow it down to one and surprise me... Still thinking about this because I don't want to lose it!
Pachelbel's "Canon in D". Typical, but I love love love it. Whenever I listen to it, I just see myself walking down the aisle to it and get overcome with excitement (yes, I am a loser).
I'm pleased to be able to comment on this thread. We lost our guitarist to an injury (she'll still be at the wedding, just can't play) so I've been sweating finding a new one. We were having drinks with our officiant and his best friend, who is also coming to the wedding, when the friend said "awww, I want to be in the wedding too, can I play some music or something?" Fi and I had to slap ourselves for not thinking of asking him to play.
We met up yesterday to talk about songs. He is going to come up with his own version of Talking Head's Love -> A building on fire. FI LOVES Talking Heads, and he had to be at work so couldn't be at the meeting with us, so I ran the other songs we chose by him for approval, but we are going to surprise him with me walking down the aisle to the Talking heads song. It's going to be so awesome.
Our wedding is very non traditional so I am walking in to History in the Making by Darius Rucker. We are also huge country fans as well as Darius Rucker fans.

The parents and bridal party will process to "There is Love" by Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul, and Mary) It's often called "The Wedding Song" Fi's aunt with sing accompanied by his uncle on the guitar
I'll be processing to an acoustic guitar piece called "Spanish Romance", uncle will play this on the guitar.
I will be walking down the aisle to a take on the "Feather Theme" from Forrest Gump by the Pianissimo Brothers. It's beautiful and moving but still uplifting and hopeful. Plus FI always comments on how pretty it is when we watch that movie, so I'm betting he will recognize it
