WOO!!!!! FINALLY!

Today I have a work baby shower for another one of my coworkers! I brought in a Nothing Bundt Cake again and we're having a catered lunch full of yummy food!

I'm leaving work early and heading to @GoldenPenguin 's house for the weekend! @buddysmom80 @csousa1 and @Hummingbird125 will be there tonight too and we're planning to order pizza and play ALL the games while snugging the pups. I can't wait to meet Bruschi!

Tomorrow is @GoldenPenguin 's birthday!!!!!!!!!! We're going to Dinosaur BBQ for dinner and I can't even tell you how excited I am for mac and cheese.

Sunday I have to drive home and I'll be sad to leave my frands. I need to do my food shopping and meal prep for the week and then Sunday night is TWD finale.

On the radio this morning they were saying that 11 minutes of the finale were leaked online (they didn't play it or mention anything else, thank god) and that MAJOR things happen and I SERIOUSLY HAD TEARS IN MY EYES. I'm a total freak, I know, but I'm so nervous! I will for sure have a box of tissues and a glass bottle of wine in my hands through the whole thing.

OH. I slept "in" today and it was really great and VERY much-needed.

I was in bed by 930, asleep a few minutes later and I got 7.5 hours last night! I feel fantastic today. I'm glad I listened to my body and thank you all for the advice and thangs yesterday!

So since Saturday and Sunday are usually "rest" days on my program, I'm just bumping them up by a day. When I get home on Sunday, I want to do what I was supposed to do today AND the stretch workout as well so that I don't have 3 days off because that'll make Monday REALLY tough.

I am so glad it's Friday. What a week!!!

Yesterday, baby gave us a scare. Normally she is like a ninja warrior all day, waking me up, making me jump, knocking things off my belly. She might quiet down for 30-60 minutes, but then she's back at it again. Yesterday, I couldn't get her to ninja kick for anything. About 7:00 we were about to go in the the ER and she finally gave a half-hearted kick. I laid down and put a plastic plate on my belly, and we all watched while she started to try and kick it off. Of course, we were up most the night kicking, but I didn't mind.

I'm at work until 10:45 today. At 9:00, we have to present something to a division boss and a bargaining union guy. Really nervous about that. Then I'm leaving to go to my OB appointment to check my BP, protein amount in urine, etc. I took my BP at my mom's house yesterday afternoon and it was 135/75. Still high (for me) but not in a crazy range. Whew.

We're meeting some friends for lunch and then they are giving us all their clothes from their little girl. Yay!!

Tonight, H and I are having a Star Wars party since it comes out on DVD today. Can't wait!

@CocoBellaF - It was so hard to not dig into the cake on my drive to work today! I have a Dino BBQ here and I always get pulled pork and double mac and cheese because their mac and cheese is my actual favorite on the planet but tonight I'm going to be healthy and get pulled pork, single mac and cheese and a side salad

It's SOOOOOOO good.

I hope your appointment goes well today! Yay for free baby clothes! AW some pics when you can, I love looking at tiny clothes. ESPECIALLY baby socks and shoes. #iCant

@Swazzle - It sounds REALLY delicious. Good on you for getting healthier options, but still getting some of that mac and cheese. I have never heard of a Dino BBQ, but I'll have to look it up.

I can't wait to see all the baby stuff. She always has on SUPER CUTE outfits, so I know I'm going to love it. I think this weekend we are going to try to put up the chandelier, crib, and bookcases... so pretty soon I can start to AW baby K's room, aka my woman cave.

ETA: We got a few cute little onesies and a dress at the shower yesterday. I'll AW them later when I get H to send me the pics. So cute and small!

@Swazzle Have so much fun with everyone this weekend and Happy Birthday @GoldenPenguin

Last night my cousin and I went to the SkyFit class at the trampoline park and it was so hard but so fun! You basically jump, and do different positions in the air (jumping jacks, tuck jumps, toe touches, etc.) You stretch, jump for 20 mins straight, then you play games and finish out with another stretch. It was a blast and I can't wait to go back! My legs felt like jelly last night.

Tonight is my cousin's birthday party so we will be having pizza! Tomorrow, BF and I are going to the gym in the morning, then we are going out with my stepdad's family for dinner and a band.

Sunday's Wrestlemania, so we are going to the neighbors down the street for a viewing party with tons of snacks and food! I am bringing WW Taco salad so I can eat and not waste too many points. Should be a fun weekend!

Ugh today is month end which sucks because I usually bail out early on Fridays but I won't get to today. So to make the day better I ditched the smoothie and got a dunkins breakfast sandwich....and munchkins! lol

H just told me now that he's going for guy's night tomorrow so I'm like hmmm do I try to make plans with someone or just veg out by myself?!

Today is Friday! So excited for the weekend. We have nothing planned really other than me doing baby organization stuff and maybe trying to find some baby deals. I plan on working out today and just heading home early so I can pick up some baby clothes from a neighbor (I belong to an online mom's group in my neighborhood and she was selling some 6-12 month old clothes at a reasonable price).

Tomorrow is likely just Ani-prep (her nursery walls need decoration and I have to organize her closet, etc.). Sunday will be more of the same. Very laid back.

When you go to the bathroom at work for your daily perfect morning poop.....

And then discover there's no toilet paper.....

So you have to wipe with torn pieces of toilet seat covers because the dispenser is broken.

Working from home today! Feels so good. I've already gotten two loads of laundry done and a bunch of dishes.

H is traveling so I'm alone with Coop and as much as I miss having him around it's nice to have some alone time! Since H is in a PhD program he studies from home a lot and rarely goes out.

My mom is driving down tomorrow! We're going to paint pottery and make homemade pasta and watch movies and have a girls night. I can't wait to spend some 1-on-1 time with her.

@pambeesly524 - I've got nothing (for suggestions)...we haven't seen a movie in ages. We actually wanted to see The Revenant but I'm not sure if it is out yet on DVD (and it isn't "lighter" obviously). Hopefully we can find something this weekend to see in the theater, as H and I are trying to get in as many date nights before our LO makes her appearance in early June.

Good morning. I'm dragging today. Yesterday was a busy day at work and I *had* to stay up late last night with H to watch Survivor.
So I have to vent for a minute. Yesterday we had a luncheon to honor all of the university's retirees. There are about 10 of us on the committee who worked hard to put the whole thing together. My boss, early on, basically threw this duty at me to get it off of her desk. So she didn't contribute to the planning at all. Well yesterday she had the nerve to show up to the luncheon and sit down to eat. The rest of us on the committee didn't get to enjoy the food because there were a lot of people who showed up that hadn't RSVP'd. So not only were we low on seats, but the majority of us who had worked really hard didn't get to eat, while my boss didn't hesitate to grab a seat. I was pissed. So I feel even more justified in getting that raise I had asked for.
Hoping today goes by fast. I'm excited for Saturday! Going to a bridal shower for my cousin's fiance, having some quality shopping time with my mom, and then having dinner at BFF's house.

@swazzle - I'll be right there with you on Sunday!!! Unfortunately I just have a sinking feeling that more than 1 main character might die.
@CoCoBellaF - Can't wait to see baby K's room!

H is kind of a home body so on those rare occasions he has a work related dinner or he goes out to play games with some friends I really really enjoy my alone time and I get all the things done!

@jenna8984 You can get through this! Yesterday was End of Quarter for me and I am still alive! You can do it!

Omg...I am so so so freaking tired. It was EOQ and we had some pretty important deals we were expecting to get back from our client so I was up until midnight working.

My brain hurts. But on the plus side I only have to work half a day! THANK GOD! When it hits noon I'm done. I'm going to go run a couple of errands, work on laundry for our trip, and try to clean around the house so it's all nice when we get back from Asheville in a week.

We had a crazy rain storm last night and it's still cloudy but OMG you guys our backyard looks beautiful! The pink dogwood trees are just POPPING with their colors and the azaleas are the same...they look like pink and white puffballs! I just inspected our gardenia plants too and they have bloom buds seriously everywhere! I hope they hold off on their big show so I can take pictures for everyone. My gardenias have barely bloomed since we bought our house because of late frosts, especially cold icy winters, late snows, etc. so I'm really really excited for this spring.
