Yes I changed my last name (well on most stuff, still working on a few things)... My maiden name is 13 letters long and NO ONE CAN PRONOUCE IT... His is 4 and super easy to say. It was a no brainer
We aren't sure about the last name thing. I'm not overly inlove with my last name, it's only 5 letters but people often have a hard time pronouncing it the first few times they meet me, but the thing his last name involves the word Gross so as a first grade teacher I'm not sure I wanna be Mrs. Gross anything. He doesn't love his name and admits some years in elementary school he got teased about it often, but thinks his parents might be offended if we got rid of it. He even offered to go with my last name, but like I said I'm not crazy about it so that would be silly for him to change it to mine.
Hahaha and we're totally like the Father of the Bride 2 cause we joked around about creating our own name using our two names, but I'm not sure I'm creative enought to pull it off. I bet I'll just end up taking it, but it's def a discussions between us.
