I just saw this notification come through on my phone! Definitely - hopefully it's a sign that Republicans are starting to see how unqualified/unethical these nominations are.

Hopefully also the White House rescinds his nomination, but unfortunately it's highly doubtful. The Orange One will just have a temper tantrum that "Washington doesn't like outsiders" and "everyone is against him" and "everyone is wrong" etc.

I also look at it as a move to pacify constituents, since it seems that all reps and especially GOP congresspeople are getting battered by phone calls. So this might be a "LOOK! We're trying!" move, but if they don't take him out and they confirm him, they can still be all, "Welp, we tried. Sorry(not sorry)."

After catching up on the news today I am starting to believe Robert Reich's prediction that the GOP supported him with plans to pass as much legislation as quickly as possible only to impeach him later is accurate. They get to look like heroes for putting out the fire even though they were the ones who took the batteries out of the fire alarm and blew on the sparks before the fire took off.

Looks like H and I will be joining the EU, but Canada seems more fun. PLUS H played hockey from the time he was in utero.

I may be wrong, but I don't see South Carolina going with the NE/mid-Atlantic. They feel more like Texas to me.

Then again, they have that huge BMW plant. Maybe Germany will just annex them.

As an Alaskan, I hate this plan. Canada is my choice please! Also, would Canada really want to give Russia a toehold on the same continent? Better to have a water border to defend than a land border.
