That sounds like a great weekend!

The second half of that Tell All was pretty bland. At first, I was really disappointed it was only one hour instead of two. But maybe that was just as well!

They hardly gave Rebecca and Zied any time. I think all they talked about with them was the daughter's friend that Rebecca was jealous of. I wanted to hear more about their wedding planning and why Zied told her at the last minute that they needed to get married before Ramadan.

Andrews is the worst. But I also think Amira is being manipulative and not telling the whole truth either.

I never understand why so many people seem to think that people of opposite genders can't be just friends.

Just watched the second half and I agree it was boring. I didn't like how the cast treated Amira and that situation because if you see the way he acted and sent some of those texts it sure seems like he's a pretty controlling and manipulative person and it is good she is away from him. I'm sure she wasn't 100% forthcoming either but idk I have no sympathy for him after the string of awful texts when she was in Serbia at the airport.

The rest was boring. I'm over the Tarik/Hazel/Minty thing, it's like they're trying to keep a storyline going

That's the unfortunate thing about 90DF. When couples get along and don't have much turmoil, they get less air time and aren't invited back for various other seasons, lol.

TLC just beats a story line down until everyone is sick of it.

Plus, the longer this story line of "look at us, we're the poly couple" has gone on, the more I think it's fake. It's not a crazy unusual lifestyle and they are semi-famous. If they wanted to add a g/f to their relationship, I'd think they easily could.

I'm actually surprised they didn't, other than the boring Minty story, even if all of it was fake.

HEA?

I’m kinda excited to go through Angela’s weight loss surgery with her. Lol. But buyer beware, a lot of people gain the weight back. They get cocky about losing so much or just sick of it and you can over eat on this and stretch out your stomach. Who do I know that has done this? Yours truly.

Kalani/Asulei - I’m glad he’s working and making better money but I do hope they don’t go mortgage poor because of it. And like the pillow talkers said, a house wont repair a marriage (unless the breaking of the marriage is becuase of the house but in this case it’s not)

elizabeth/and her guy lol - I mean great he wants to work and got his license but why do you have to go to FIL for everything?

Brandon/Julia - eh. Although I did look up the Tuscany hotel. Decent hotel. Decent prices. I wanna go back. That’s all they did for me. Make me want to go to Vegas again.

Were these the only couples we saw? Yara and Jovi and Tiffany and... her guy (why am I blanking on the men?) come in next week right?

I haven't watched Pillow Talk yet. But I'm excited for the new season of HEA. Yes, I think Yara/Jovi and Tiffany/Ronald are going to be next week. There were certainly a lot of snippets in the commercial about both of those couples.

Angela makes no sense she is going to CA for her surgery. I was hugely side-eying both Michael and his sister bad mouthing her because she's spending "all this money" just to be more attractive. Okay, 1) It might be largely covered by her health insurance but, even if it isn't, that's HER money. 2) It certainly isn't just about how she looks. That is completely daft and very unfair. That might be part of it, but being healthier is even more important to her.

Elizabeth/Andrei -- All he has done is found another excuse to pretend he's working toward a career, but is actually just spinning his wheels. If he got a real estate license, then use it to buy/sell houses for clients. He was talking about he only got it to fix/flip houses. WTF?!?! You don't need a RE license to fix/flip houses. It's 1,000x more important to have...oh, I don't know...effing MONEY. And experience. I love how bluntly Chuck (FIL) shut him down.

Brandon/Julia -- That was weird she wanted to randomly and suddenly move to Las Vegas. If it is just a bigger city she is attracted to, I wonder if Brandon has taken her to some of the larger cities closer to where they live. Maybe that would make her happier and be an easier transition then moving across the country. And congrats to Brandon for finding a job that pays better and is fewer hours. Major win-win.

Kalani/Asulei -- I don't like them (shrug). It's nice he's finally making some money after both of them and their kids being supported by her parents for years (eyeroll). I can't picture them being able to buy a house. It is hard enough for people who are self-employed...which is where Uber/Lyft drivers fall if that is all they do...to qualify for bank loans. And, generally speaking, to have any shot, they need to show two years of tax returns with that kind of consistent income.

I dont think my DVR recorded Happily ever after, hmmmm. I'm kind of sad to read Kalani and Asuelu are still together though, they do not have a health marriage.

They talk about in the show that they are hoping buying a house will save their marriage. Yikes! Are you kidding me? It can be so stressful to buy a house, especially if it will leave them more cash-strapped. And then if things don't work out, now they have a newly purchased home to deal with.

In commercials for upcoming shows. his mom/sister go crazy cakes again and demands he divorces Kalani, because she says she doesn't want more children.

Oh lord that's stupid to be buying a house - unless of course it's her family buying it for them since it seems like they support them (side eye to her -- like Elizabeth -- seemingly being supported by parents forever)

Angela having to leave GA (or the surrounding area) for bariatric surgery was side eyeing. Most states have great doctors for that. Now, plastics doctors - then yeah, that’s where you shop and look around. Thankfully I’m in chicago and have some good ones to choose from.

From the commercials, it sounds like there will be some plastic surgery going on also. But, ffs, Atlanta is one of those cities that has always been on the cutting edge of medicine. I'm sure she could find beau coup, highly regarded doctors there for what she is doing.

Not to mention, this was during the pandemic, though I'm not sure when. L.A. has been a bad, hot spot for almost the whole time. I hope she was fully vaccinated but, unless that was recent footage from this year, she wouldn't have been.

Ok, so watching last nights ep, I get why Angela went to L.A for the surgery. It’s surgeries, not surgery, and one is a plastic surgeon so you do want to travel for that. But i never heard of them doing gastric sleeve/breast reduction on the same day, different doctors? Do they tags team? Gastric bypass doc says he’s done and in comes plastic surgeon. That can’t be legal.... also, didn’t know in Nigerian culture a woman with big breasts means = good life.

I still think she could have found an equally good team in Atlanta. They didn't make a big thing about it, but I think the doctors' names have been mentioned and the outside office sign flashed a few times. I suspect she chose this office because she is getting a discount (or free) on services for the free publicity.

One of the women in my sorority got a breast augmentation for a vastly reduced price because she agreed to be a model for his new ad campaign. It was something like his services were free...which was the majority of the charge because the surgery was done in his offices...and she just needed to pay for the other charges.

I could see why it makes sense she has the two surgeries at the same time. At least then she only needs to go under anesthesia once.

One of these days, I will get Discovery Plus. But I don't have it yet so no Single Life for me (sniff, sniff).

That Pig Royalty show you've mentioned looks intriguing and I can't even say why, lol. Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs) also has a show on there that looks interesting. It's called something like "Six Degrees with Mike Rowe". He takes two seemingly unrelated things and shows an indirect connection.

Oh! I also wanted to talk about the office manager or whoever that woman at the office is and her inappropriate wardrobe. It's a casual cream-colored suit with a blazer. But then paired with a bandeau top and her whole midriff showing. WTH?!?!

It's so outrageously unprofessional for a medical office that I'm horrified every time I see her, lol.

Finally started recording HEA. I like that Kalani and Asuelu are buying a 3 bedroom house and one bedroom is dedicated to his game room. Wtf. Not to mention she’s talking about how there is no real romance or relationship, so why are you a) still together and b) buying a house?!

I can’t decide how I feel about Jovi and Yara. On the one hand she does seem a bit too over protective/controlling but I wonder if there are reasons she feels that way around him. I like that he’s saying he wants to do more but I can’t help but think he’s probably also a lot of talk (maybe I’m projecting lol)

Lol I missed the game room part. I do beileve they need to test their relationship w/out living with her parents... but perfect excuse to rent first. If anyone asks.. it’s a sellers market, not a buyers...

I still like Yara. I want to think Jovi has changed, but I doubt it. I think even she mentioned in an interview how the majority of their courting was done long distance/vacation relationships... real life dating and then the fast marriage was a different lifestyle for her.

Ronald - wtf on him telling the boy that if the visa is denied they are moving to South Africa even though he hasn’t scrutiny discussed that with the mom. You can tell the little boy is not liking that yet he kept pushing. Wtf

Yes I 100% beileve the breast reduction fiasco is for the show. I think she knew and requested 2 lbs gone in each. If she agreed to 1 lb and he took 2, I think that would be a law suit waiting to happen. Now, I’ve seen a LOT of plastic surgery shows and the doctor always gets permission (probably in writing and for implants especially, since they don’t know how they’ll take once they’re in) that they agree on lets say 500 cc but maybe the surgeon can do 550 cc’s once surgery starts? Or even 450 cc’s? The patient has to agree to leave it in that surgeons hands. I’m sure Angela left it in his hands and knew it could be a possibility.

If it’s true though and he took more than he should have, because it’ll look better once her stomach “slims down” or whatever term he used, What happens if she slims down and then regains the weight? I did my research, after 24 months around 50% of bariatric patients regain the weight back (or even more). <hand raise>

I can’t with Asuleu and Kalani. He’s a child in a grown man’s body. And no, Kalani’s Dad - don’t try to keep two people together who shouldn’t be together just because they have kids.

I used to like Ronald and Tiffany’s boy, but yeah that was over the top to put him in the middle. The pillow Talkers (Veronica and Tim) said something true, if she’s already thinking divorce and she’ll never move to be with him - maybe they should just get divorced now?

Speaking of the pillow talkers, if I didn’t already love Kenneth and Armando, they make their appearance on pillow talk and I love them even more! Kenneth had me rolling with his comments. Can we hang? I feel like we could hang....

Oh also @short+sassy, I mentioned to you that Lauren and Alexi were on baby #2 (I don’t know if they revealed the gender yet) but Anny and Robert are also expecting #2! A boy!

Plus, to me, the attitude that "people should just suck it up and never get divorced" is extremely sexist once you scratch the surface a little. That's the kind of toxic pressure that makes women feel they need to stay with their abusers. Stay with serial cheaters. That problems in the marriage are "their fault" and they are the ones who "need to be better and be superwoman". F**k all that noise.

With that said, most of Kalani's complaints about Asuelu really annoy me. Asuelu certainly seems awful to be married to. But he's always been a man-child! Always!!! I can't help but think she married him assuming she could "change him" and that he would mature. Except, of course, he didn't. Marrying him at all was her mistake to begin with.

Which brings us back to the toxic, chauvinistic sheltered world her parents raised her in. She had little romantic experience to begin with. Lost her virginity in her 30s with her vacation fling. But then got pregnant. So they "had" to get married.

We met at the ATL airport and then drove to Savannah for the first leg of our trip. We spent more time there, then drove back to Atlanta. Our flights line up fairly well. Pam's came in about 90 minutes after mine did.

We went to LiviRae (Molly and Cindy's shop) while we were in Atlanta! I personally didn't get to meet them

, because they weren't out in the shop when I was. But I heard their voices when I was trying on bras with my fitter. Pam lucked out and Cindy was her fitter! For a "larger chested" gal, like myself, the shop was awesome!

We were too busy having fun at a kareoke bar on the Sunday night we were in Savannah, to watch the 90DF show together. But caught the repeat on Friday night. We were joking it was our opportunity to have our own Pillow Talk, lol.

A lot of fun! It started off as a Livi Rae trip and we did make it there. A good idea to go on Thursday, we walked in and got on the wak-in wait list. Not many people in the store. Some shoppers didn’t really know who they were (was talking to someone who was shocked I came from Chicago for a bra fitting!) and some did and wanted to meet Molly.

I saw a glimpse of Molly walking to the backroom and one on the floor talking to a “fan”. @short+sassy was in the changeroom. I was shown to mine and the lady was like “Cynthia will be here in a moment”.
And I’m like cool, they have two Cynthia’s here? That must be confusing.
and then THE Cynthia walked into my dressing room. I got fitted by Cynthia! She got my size right away and honestly, getting into a bra that fits is the best thing ever!

We did have a lot of 90Day talk and flashbacks! We even got to see the re-airing of Sunday’s ep on Friday in the hotel room (our last night)! Fun fun!
