Shameful Confessions

Re: Shameful Confessions

• Everytime I watched Steve Young play, I always wondered if he was wearing the temple undergarments.

I guess this is shameful, but I've put on maybe 15 pounds since February after losing 20 without trying from January 2011 til then. I was pretty sick. So, the weight gain was needed, but the shameful part is that I miss the old weight. Thank God the clothes I'd bought still fit.

I'm also really frustrated with my inability to read a book (concentrate) and do the puzzles I love, especially logic puzzles. I'm chalking that up to statous migrainous (chronic unending migraines), but it scares me about the spots on my brain, even though the doctor told me it was probably from the migraines.

Oh and as far as extra underwear, I do usually 3 extra pairs (more if we're not staying with family or going for a week). And I try to put a pair in my carryon, now that my luggage got delayed a few years ago. My mom and I call it (she does it too, having been delayed, luggage going to the wrong city, etc) "talisman underwear."

Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
• MK, I'm the same way. If cheetos are in the house, they are going to end up in my belly. I'm better about sweets, but we can't keep chips and stuff like that around.

[QUOTE]Muni - It's the John Daly. It's basically an Arnold Palmer (tea + lemonade) plus vodka. It was our signature drink, heh. Seriously delicious.

You could make these with sweet tea vodka. That stuff is the shiit.

• I'm normally pretty light when I pour, Ranch, but I got a little heavy handed on the last one. You're right--they do sneak up on you.
• MK, I'm down to drink and wear big hats with you anytime!

[QUOTE]Ranch, you bet. Tracey, I'm glad you were sensible. That's so much more encouraging to me than someone who drinks shakes for every meal. Adamar, hot damn. You two look awesome.

Oh hells no...I love food too much (obviously)! lol. Just have to remind myself that I don't need to eat it all at once like I'll never get a chance to have it again.

I just can't have any of it around A. It's bad. Same thing with work. When there's goodies at work I just can't seem to say no. I was doing totally awesome there for a long time, but being laid off just lost it for me. I lost my motivation. My routine was screwed. I'm hoping that biking to the train station (10miles round trip) each day will at least get me inspired to be active again like I was 4 months ago.

Don't mind me. Throwing a little 'ole pity party over here. So not like me.

I get irritated at FI because he can't pace himself with treats. Like, if I were to buy a 6 pack of pudding, he'd have to eat all 6 at once instead of one per day.

Rachers we got to sample Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka before it hit the shelves down in Charleston. We were having an oyster roast the following weekend and I convinced the rep to bring some to the event. He showed up with 3 gatorade coolers full of that mixed with lemonade. Best.oyster.roast.ever.

• Class is out. Night, all!
• Rach, that's one of our signature drinks too! (our other is lychee-ginger martinis)

That's totally me Poke. And if we buy something and we both like I have this irrational fear that H will eat it all/get more of it than me so I'll gobble it all up waaaay too fast. Ugh this cannot be heatlhy. I think I need to get back in to counselling.

Imagine that Rachers. I think Firefly might have been the first (if not close to it) sweet tea vodka. Nom. So delicious.

Night Special and Rachers.

I'm going to head out as well. I need to stretch before crawling in to bed if I have any hope of being able to walk tomorrow, let alone bike in the morning.

• Hi! I'm anxiously awaiting H's return; it always makes me nervous when he goes out running after dark.

Hi Any! That would make me nervous too. I assume you probably live in a safe neighborhood, but there's also cars that might not see him in the dark, too. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

I just got back from the gym. It felt good to work out for the first time in awhile! When I went back into the locker room to get my stuff, this woman was standing there buck naked leisurely doing her hair. Weird. She was in her 40s, really skinny and toned and obviously had implants (they were pretty big and too perky for her age) and I couldn't stop staring for some reason, haha. Creeper, party of me.

• Hi Eagles, how was your shower yesterday?? And that's pretty much the only reason I wear clothes to bed in the summer too, although if I didn't live with my family, I wouldn't care.

• I sleep in underwear (bikini's) and a built in cami tank top.
• Yeah it's definitely more the cars I'm worried about. We're on the nicer side of town, although there have been a few attempted sexual assaults at the park we live right behind.

I sleep buck naked except for that time of the month. I love being naked, and 90% of the time, it's too hot to do otherwise here anyway. Not that I didn't do it in Canada regardless, but yeah.
• Wow, that's pretty heinous, IMO. It might not be as bad if it didn't have the see through part, although it would still be weird.

[QUOTE]Angel, it was so much fun! We got so much stuff, I'm actually really overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. My friend took a million pictures so I have to get them from her. It was a wonderful party.

That's awesome, I'm glad you had a good time! I'm co-hosting a bridal shower in 2 weeks for my friend, hopefully she'll enjoy it.

• Eagles, that's how I imagine I'll feel at mine. I like being the center of attention in a group of close friends, but in a room full of people, not so much.

I just started watching Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23... It's not bad, I think I'll stick with it.

• Wow... I do not like that dress. At all.
• I think I'm working everyday this week... I'm not used to that anymore. I do need the money though so that part is good.

• Wow, I totally fell asleep on the sofa with the computer in my lap. Way to go poke.
• I'm going to double my melatonin dosage tonight. I was up til 3 am last night and then took a 3 hour nap today so I doubt I'll go to sleep on my own tonight.

I could never fall asleep on the sofa... I have to be in my bed with the lights off, etc.
