• mmmm I may stop and get a McDonald's sundae on my way home now.

Haha Heb, feel free to switch places with me. I am so sick of Veggie Tales because S watches is so much. I'm also sick of Cinderella thanks to C.

Aryn It's a bad habit that I can probably sing most of the theme song. I can't recite lines of a movie for the life of me, but songs watch out.

• If the dress code is "smart casual" what would you wear?
• a sun dress
• I just got back from the baseball game.  I was annoyed earlier because my dad didn't really factor in gameday and construction traffic when he decided what time he wanted to leave.  I took us almost an hour to go maybe 6 miles.  There was also a broken down vehicle in the middle of the highway adding to the backup. By the time we got to our seats it was the middle of the 3rd inning.

Edie, if you're still around, I'm game if you are.
• and as much as I would love to meet musical, I have no desire to go on a lake or any other body of water where I can't see my feet.

lake bottoms are murky
• H has on khaki shorts and a polo... ?

• Haha OOT. I do NOT swim in the lake. As long as I'm above water, I'm happy.

• I like Veggie Tales.  My favorite is the one with the giant wall where the french peas/grapes whatever sing with the broom helmets on.
• I Know that one loops! With the "keep walking" song haha.
image
• Yes.  And now I've got that "keep walking" song stuck in my head.  So, Thanks!
In Response to Re: Evening Thread? : I think that I'm going to have ice cream for dinner again.  But I'm all out so I'm going to have to call out for it
Posted by ootmother2
That is what I had for lunch.  Now I'm cranky.  I think that is why I don't want to go out.  Maybe after some 'real food' I will get a second wind.  Tomorrow is my only day of the week I can sleep in.

Which by the way I ordered sushi.

Side note:  We changed Chef's food.  OMG, his gas is just beyond bad.  Maybe I need to switch it back.
Steez, I'm here! I feel like an idiot, I should have warned you about the construction.  At least no one scored before you got there!
Posted by edielaura
I knew about the construction.  My dad just forgot about it.  The broken down car was right before the Fort Pitt tunnel where the four lanes merge down to two.
And I'm definitely still game!

Sweet!
• Whenever I can't find my hairbrush, I walk around singing "oh where is my hairbrush" from Veggie Tales.
• The guy in front of me last night coming through town was driving so slow I wanted to scream.
People around here either go too slow or too fast. It's ridiculous.

Or don't know how to drive at all.
• Random question - Has anyone heard of the sandwich place Capriotti's?

• Never heard of it.

i wouldn't wear jeans to "smart casual" unless you combined them with a bare ish top and strappy heels.
• Evening everyone!  I thought I would go to bed a half an hour ago, but I am not feeling tired yet.
Lynda, I haven't, but is it a local place?
Posted by edielaura
Well back when I lived in DE is was a local place.  Maybe 3-5 shops.

They have my favorite sandwich, the Bobbie.  I talk about it all the time to people. I was surprised today to find they have places around the country (not in every state though).  Closest one to me is in Plano.

Now I can't stop craving one of their Bobbie sandwiches.

• The Boobie is a wonderful fresh hoagie (sub) roll.  Stuffed with real oven roasted turkey (not deli meat), stuffing, crandberry and light mayo.

It's basically Thanksgiving on a roll.

Amazing.

• They're all in the Philly area, Edie.
According to Wikipedia OOT, you are probably correct. They basically define it as business casual. So slacks/dress pants, with a blouse or sweater. Same for men- dress pants, button down dress shirt.

lol, I said that because snoop said it was still 100 degreess there.  all that will be HOT
