    Hello ladies! My first bridal shower is this upcoming Saturday, my FI's 4 aunts are giving the shower and I was wondering if I am supposed to get them a small thank you gift. Thanks for all your help!

    I have only been to 2 showers before, so I am kind of new to this. At one shower gifts were opened and at the other gifts were not opened. I was wondering if I choose not to open gifts at my shower will that be a breach of etiquette??

    I was recently told at my bridal shower that it is "bad luck" to use any gifts received prior to the wedding... is this true? We just moved and could really use these items, plus our entire spare bedroom is now filled with gifts and we still have another shower to attend! help!

    My fiancee's aunt is throwing me a bridal shower, and as soon as the invitations were sent out, we started receiving the gifts. How do I acknowledge the gifts/givers at the shower since I am not receiving them at the shower itself? Should I just keep them wrapped up and then open them there?
