And now I'm judging these people for putting that bigass TV in their breakfast nook. And for having a weird triangular table.
I think we will have fun house hunting at the same time.
BTW - I've seen that table before. It's pretty cool. Not in front of a huge ass TV. I don't think people need to go crazy with staging, but it seems common sense that this looks wrong.
- - - - - - Why you eat the quote boxes, TK? - - - - - - What's really strange is the rest of the rooms are either empty or very minimally furnished, so they've either moved out already or put some serious work into staging it. So why leave the TV there?? Hell, move it into one of the 5 (yes, FIVE) bathrooms! It would make just as much sense as having it in the breakfast nook!
I judge people on public transportation. All of them, all the time. Put your backpack on the ground, stop leaning on the pole that is for everyone's use as if it is your own personal leanin' post, stop standing in front of the doors so you can be the first one out, conveniently ignoring that you were the first one IN and are now blocking people from getting on the train, stop listening to your stupid shitty music/playing a dumb game on your phone without headphones, stop sitting with your legs so spread apart that I have to ask you to move just so I can sit in what is supposed to be a spot, stop putting your bag on the seats, STOP. Just stop.
Yeah, I'm not putting my bag on that dirty ass floor, sorrynotsorry. It can sit on the seat next to me until I need to move it onto my lap so someone can sit down.

Ugh, FI would have NO problem having that giant TV in a tiny space. Boys and their toys.
we may or may not have a 70 inch tv in a living room that is 11.5 feet wide.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

Re: bags, of course I am talking about crowded trains. No one should leave their bag on the seat when the train is crowded and people want to sit. I say put the backpack on the floor because a giant backpack takes up the same space as another standing human, and people who carry them have a near-universal tendency to knock their bag-o-bricks into other people.
As for the filthy floor, I get it. Personally, I hold the backpack low in front of my knees, where I can control it and where it doesn't hit people. If it's heavy it rests on my feet.
But what I don't get is the (apparently widespread) belief that your (general) inanimate object is more important than the human beings around you.
Often, the shit in our lives that makes us the most ragey (people, problems, etc) are really just a reflection of ourselves, and if we change ourselves we can also influence and change our environment.
OK, back to venting!

I have tried to take pics for it but chickened out, lol.
Oh I see what you mean, ppl that are standing with their back-packs on etc. on crowded trains and buses.

@lolo883 There are practically no houses here in MA with A/C. Out of my 100 family members and friends, I can think of exactly 3 houses that have it, and they are the rich uncles in million dollar homes.
We never even hit 90 degrees this summer (it was steady around 80) and we're already going down into the 50's/ 60's. I can't imagine it's any hotter in MI since you're on the same latitude. What the hell you doing blow drying in summer?! We don't bother with that nonsense lol.

THIS^
I always move bags, give up seats for those who I think might need it more than me. Grandma (who has been dead since 1992) sits on my shoulder reminding me people come first.

It hasn't been that hot this summer, but normally it's torturous. The humidity is really what gets me. It was only in the 70s the other day but we had the AC on because it was SO muggy I felt like I couldn't breathe.
And nobody wants to see the Queen of the Mushroom People hairdo I wind up with if I let my hair air-dry! I braided it today because I gave zero fucks, but normally I need to dry it.
Right now I'm judging my boss for telling me to make sure to manage my time wisely over the next two weeks while the two other people in my department are out of the office (because I never would have done that had you not mentioned it to me! Great idea!) and then asking me to do some bullshit crap work that he could easily do himself but is too lazy.

Along these lines, I get so annoyed with people who email/call to ask me a question that they could have easily answered through the interwebs in less time than it took to call/email me and for me to respond.
I'm so judgey, but today I'm judging my second boss for trying to guilt me into staying yesterday when I quit. And I'm judging myself for laying on my couch when it's this nice out today.

Today I am
hardcore judging a co-worker who I just found out is cheating on her husband
with a manager in our office. It's a really good thing I don't really interact
with her on a daily basis because I'm quite positive I wouldn't be able to hide
my disgust. So so disgusted in this person.
On a lighter note, I am also judging myself for putting off cleaning our house for so long. We have company coming over this weekend and I'm going to have to turn into a cleaning robot tonight and tomorrow night to get everything presentable.
I judge people who take young children to fast food joints regularly. I get every once in a while, shit goes down, no cooking happens. But come on. There is zero nutrition there.
I judge the previously heavy woman at my gym for making snide remarks about other people. You were there yourself not too long ago, lady. At least keep the comments to yourself.
It was said before but I also judge drinking pop before a certain time of day! That, to me, is 11am. That's when an 'early lunch' happens.
I judge a good many people in this town who go out to buy cases of beer the day their EI (welfare) comes out. This is not a wealthy area, and our liquor store gets so swamped those days, and it's so very hard to keep my mouth shut.
I judge people who have no consideration for others, which I know is broad. For example, once when I pretty much broke my ankle, I was hobbling for the elevator from the subway (I was going up 3-4 flights and didn't want to hobble the stairs), a bunch of able walkers got on and stood in there watching me hobble towards them and let the doors shut. There was room for me, and I was pretty close when the doors shut. If I could have walked, I would have made it. Seriously people?? You can do stairs fine. How about letting someone who can't walk well at the time get a ride too.
@larrygaga I totally agree with you and judge this crazy woman for raising her daughter vegan, for her having no vaccinations, and for never having taken her to a doctor. She had a midwife birth so the THREE year old has never seen a doctor. She wears size 18 month size clothes. The baby's dad is 6'6", but the little one will be lucky to be four feet tall. I so want to call CPS.
When I was a kid, I had a friend like this. At two years old, she weighed 18 lbs, and her mom thought that was healthy and everybody else's kid was fat. The mom didn't let my friend and her sister get vaccines, and one time my friend - who didn't like needles - begged her mom to let her get the vaccine with all the other kids at school so she wouldn't feel weird and left out. She regularly restricted their diet and vehemently opposed all traditional medicine. Meanwhile, she hid the fact that she smoked from her kids. Everyone else knew, because it was obvious (and she'd been caught).
My friend's dad was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer when we were in high school. The mom made sure he didn't get any mainstream treatment and cut off anybody who tried to convince them otherwise. Apparently she only let him consume wheatgrass juice. She was convinced that he wouldn't die if he followed this diet. He died at home, with nobody providing any palliative care, in pain and covered in bed sores.
That mother has since died from breast cancer, for which she sought no mainstream medical treatment (nor did she go for regular screenings). She died on the opposite side of the world from her kids as she was getting alternative treatment.
I have countless other stories about this crazy woman, and I judge her hard for what she did to her kids, her husband and herself.
ETA: I should note that it seemed like my friend had autism in addition to a learning disorder, not that autism was her learning disorder.
Thank you, @steph11814. How are the grown up kids now?
My friend had some sort of learning disorder and a number of tics growing up (it seemed like an autism spectrum disorder and mild Tourette's). I don't know if there was ever a diagnosis, but something was definitely up and she had learning assistance throughout most of elementary and high school. She got her teaching degree and is now an elementary school teacher.
The younger daughter lives abroad, and I think she works in the tourism industry. She was semi-estranged from her mother after her dad died. She was always much more "rebellious" than my friend. And by rebellious, I mean didn't put up with her mom's BS.
Today I am judging the parents who knowingly send their kids to school sick. Especially when the kid ends up having a highly contagious virus, and you find out later that the parents suspected that was what was wrong...

Judging myself for realizing how judgy I am and how many of other people's complaints I'm guilty of.
I thoroughly enjoy Reece's Cups and Coke for breakfast. Coke is my first go to if I can't have coffee.
I say "like" too much...and probably "you know" too.
We just had our primary election for Alaska state house and senate and our U.S. representative and one of our U.S. senators. We also had a super controversial referendum on the ballot that has gotten a TON of media attention and ads in our state. So far it's failed although they haven't finished counting absentee ballots. And it's pretty close. Within about 6,500 votes.
I judge the people who are calling it a conspiracy and saying that someone hacked the voting count machines because "everyone I talk to says they voted yes and comments on articles are overwhelmingly supportive of the yes vote." Major judging and eye rolling going on over here.

I am judging the people who try to get on the bus/train/subway when the doors open without letting the people off first.
I also just people who stand on the left side of the escalator and block the people who want to walk up it.
Just so this isn't all commute related: I judge myself for not emptying the dishwasher and just leaving the dirty plates in the sink.
I thoroughly enjoy Reece's Cups and Coke for breakfast. Coke is my first go to if I can't have coffee.

I also judge the anti vaccine crowd. Don't want vaccines? Then get out of here and stop fucking with herd immunity.
