    We watched an absolutely hilarious "Lottery Changed my Life" a few weeks ago where the son was trying to pass his Dad off as the most eligible bachelor in the US since he won $2 million in a raffle. They were both walking hillbilly stereotypes. They decided to go on a shopping spree - at a pawn shop.  The son was going to make his fortune selling his "collectables" which he housed in a motel. We couldn't quite get over it. 

    Anyway, the point of this ramble was that the Dad was still on food stamps. They were trying to pass a law in his state (Michigan) to prevent this from happening again.
