[QUOTE]Ben doesn't have a father. Well, he does, but he's never met him and he's not on the birth certificate. It was hard as hell until I met Matt, but I would not trade it for the world. I'm glad that miserable shiit knocked me up because I got an amazing little man and I don't have to deal with the bullshit that comes along with dealing with sharing a child with an ex.

You have no idea how much my mother and sister envy women like you. My sister is currently going through a really nasty custody battle with my nieces' father, who's being a d-bag for the sake of being a d-bag. He doesn't want his kids, but he wants to "punish" my family for my sister getting pregnant (Even though he's the one who doesn't like condoms and knew she wasn't on the Pill), so he keeps dragging them back to court to rework visitation and trying to get a break on child support. I honestly hopes if he doesn't terminate his rights soon that he just gets hit by a truck or something. My nieces would be way better off without him in their life.

And here's a funny story, when Ben was first born, he was very small (4.5 lbs), so we had to start feeding him formula right away and my milk just never came in. I would pump and pump with nothing. I just remember sitting on the bed and crying like a baby because all I could think about was that if I were a caveman, my baby would die. Totally irrational. I was crazy for the first week after he was born.

  • Trying hard to think of things that I haven't already told you guys that also aren't TMI....

When I was four, I loved Lady and the Tramp so much that I wore my hair in two big fluffy pigtails every day to look like cocker spaniel ears, wore a collar and license, and would go around licking people on the nose. One time my mom was at the kitchen and I went up behind her and barked, and she acted all surprised like a puppy had wandered in from the yard. Now I realize she was kidding.

Also, I still have one of my baby teeth. I am also terrified of the dentist and I haven't been in a few years.

  • Interesting: There is a video game character modeled after me. The game came out when I was about 25 and still thin and hot. My cousin was a tester at my company while the game was being made and he refused to test that character because she fought too "sexy". Heh.

Scandalous: I have nude pics of some of my female friends. They posed for me for paintings. I would never betray their trust by letting the pics leave the safety of my home but they are there nonetheless and FI has seen some of them. (One has been turned into a painting already and several others I have done painting studies of).

OMG. I had the same thought the first week, before my milk came in. One day in particular was really bad. That's what happens when you go 4 days with no sleep.

And thank you guys! The encouragement really means a lot.

Well, here's the really f*cked up part: my ex and DH used to be best friends. Very long story, but their friendship ended before our relationship did, but DH and I had remained good friends. Up until I started opening up to DH (Which was after their friendship had ended), I wasn't able to talk about it with anybody. He didn't talk me into leaving to "be with him" or anything like that, it was a "I'm your friend, this is messed up, you need to get out". And then a couple weeks after the fact, we kind of both realized that we liked each other as more than friends ... and well, here we are.

So, here's something else. Not really interesting, but I got a call from a recruiter today and she wants to talk to me about one of her positions. I don't think I'll take the job, but I would be interested to talk to her about it. At the very least, it was a nice ego boost.

Ha! That's awesome. I remember standing in the shower, looking at my stomach and crying because I missed Ben. He was in the other room, but I missed him being in my stomach. Creepy. Yep, that's me.

  • I am a hugely boring person and have no exciting or scandalous stories. I'm a homebody and don't party so not much happens in my life.

My only real claim to fame is that I've published 2 fiction novels and have a third on the way, though the third I'm doing myself due to a disagreement with the publishing company.

The most scandalous thing I can think of is that I used to rip off my male classmates in high school playing Texas Hold 'Em. They thought I was a stupid chick who just likes to play around with cards and I took their money every time.

I would love for you to kick him in the penis. They were never married, so he's a "baby-daddy" for lack of better term. But my one niece is 18 months, the other is only 3 months (She was actually not supposed to be born until July, so she's still in the NICU), and you can tell he doesn't give a crap about them. With the older one, he has visitation twice a week, which he usually blows off at least one visit. When he shows up, my niece screams and cries when she gets put in his car, and then when she comes home she does nothing but cry and will not let anybody but my sister or my mother near her. She's normally incredibly social and happy, so we all know that something just isn't right with the visits.

The other one should be coming home in a few weeks, when she does, she'll still be on oxygen for about a month. Now he hasn't even seen her yet, but he's already petitioning to have her living at his house 3 days a week "because then it's joint custody and I don't have to pay child support".

The really sickening part of this all is with both of my sister's pregnancies, he pretty much told my family that if the baby came out retarded or deformed he wouldn't have anything to do with it. I hate this guy. I hate him so much.
