Tell me something

Re: Tell me something

  • Back to PPD, I think we were watching a PSA for it, when DH said something like "Ok, we need to remember to look into that", and that was how it came up.

I'm a pretty happy person, for the most part, but I do have panic attacks ... and I get depressed when Aunt Flo is in town (I cry over really stupid sh!t). And while I don't think it's a "guarantee", he's right, there is reason enough to at least plan for it. But I definitely agree, that I probably shouldn't be jumping the gun and assuming I have it after only a few days and no sleep.

Heh, not that I'm aware of. FI and I just want to be careful and I need lots of time to make adjustments to my meds or I have a really hard time dealing with my day-to-day life. We get married in 3 months so we'll probably start trying at the end of the year.

  • Meg - wow. That's a ton of stress for you and your family. I'm so sorry you're all going through that. Your mom must be a really strong woman.

Here's another shocker. I have a half brother that is 6 months younger than Ben. He's really mean to Ben and still shits his pants. I really don't like being around him.
  • Aww, thanks, cew. I'm not sure I was around to say it when you AW'd your wedding pics, but your photos on FB seriously took my breath away. You looked HOT. And so ridiculously happy.

  • So I'm late to this, but a weird thing I can do is pick my nose with my tongue.

Scandalous- I randomly slept with ex while he was dating the woman he left me for. 3 years later (right before I got married), he sent me a message on FB about how he's loved me this whole time and felt bad for leaving me. I was just in it for the sex, not trying to get him back.

  • Interesting: My first marriage started 41 days after I turned 16, and lasted half my life to that point (15.5yrs).

Scandelous: I met DH 4 yrs into my first marriage and knew the second I met him I'd fall for him if I allowed myself. Thankfully I was smart enough to run away until the time was right, but I never forgot him. I am so happy I watch local news in the morning, and that I'm a fucktard who can't hit the right channel.
  • When I was 10 years old me, my sister and my mom came home to find my dad dead in my parents bed. He had a heart condition and was keeping the condition good with medication so he wasn't high on the donor list. He took a shower fell asleep and never woke up. We were told he had a massive heart attack in his sleep.

I used to work in a bookstore. My manager was cool and would let employees borrow books, as long as they came back in good condition (If it looked "read", we had to pay for it). Nobody ever kept track of what was borrowed, though, and several of my borrows never made it back to the store. I would bring them home, read them, and promptly forget about them.

I never meant to steal, but at one point in time, I possessed nearly $300 in "hot" books.

That's heartbreaking, I'm so sorry. I guess there's some consolation that he went peacefully in his sleep, but still so sad.

  • FI and I had a "break" in high school, and I dated this other guy for a few months.  He was super hot, but was not smart at all.  We broke up, and FI and I got back together.

He came to my college 3 years later apparently just to tailgate - he didn't have tickets to the game or anything.  He told me that dumping me was the worst mistake of his life, asked if he had a chance if then BF and I broke up.

He still contacts me every so often.  The last time was just a month ago after my graduation.  He said one of his friends heard my name called (out of 1,000) and told ex about me.  WTF?  Oh, and he as gf.

I seriously considered entering a convent after graduating high school.

6 years later I was living in sin, lol. Now I'm married to a Buddhist instead of Jesus.

FI went to Catholic school from pre-k to college and has an uncle who is a priest in Mexico and another one who started to become a priest and just out of no where stopped and his uncle wanted FI to become a priest but FI didn't want to and I took his V card and now we are living in sin and rarely attend church.
