I wasn't really paying attention or here for all the drama that seemed to come with Heel and E, or why so many people disliked her. I try to like/dislike people her based on their own merit, and she never did anything wrong to me personally, and still hasn't, so I still like her.

But I will say that I thought that her choosing to GBCK now over the callout site was odd. I guess she was just looking for a way out? But if I was done with TK, I would just quit posting and take everything off my account, but leave the account open.

If by budget board, you mean budget poll...  I don't think it was awful.  I think your response to Whit, however well intended, as awful.  You made assumptions about her wedding (something about over-pruning the guest list, when she actually invited her entire extended family) and basically called her cheap.  I get that you didn't mean to come off as a snob, but you did. 

Now I flame you for making lame excuses instead of simply owning up to it.  You were fine with the earlier apology; I don't know why you didn't just leave it at that.

I'll go against the grain on the GBCK posts.  If it's a ploy for a bit of sympathy and a little "please stay," well, that's understandable when you've just been fairly viciously attacked for your looks and your personality.  Also, if (as I think was true in Heels' case), you take some responsibility for the crap that went down and you're acknowledging that "hey, this has gotten unhealthy and it's getting to me and I have to leave," then I think it's okay. 

Other people have toughed it out, and good for them, but that doesn't mean (to me, anyway), that someone who doesn't and who posts for a bit of sympathy and good feelings is pathetic.  I just think it's human.
