Haha, did it come out of nowhere? Right now the week ahead forecast has very little chance of precipitation but I know it can still change a bit. I never thought I'd have to hope for even a LITTLE snow in January, KWIM? I mean we literally have NOTHING on the ground at all. No snow is left anywhere.

I'm really, really curious to know exactly what you could sell that would turn your life around.  You haven't been very enlightening on this point.

You're not really seeming to get that people can't just sell a couple of designer bags on Ebay in order to get off food stamps.

Hmmm... so I can keep my Coach bag if my mom gave it to me, but not if I bought it myself during better times?  What if it's the only Coach bag I own?  Then can I keep it?  What about my jewelry?  Can I keep my engagement ring?  How about the necklace my FI got me for our first Valentine's Day?  Can I keep one but not the other, since I'm only allowed "one special thing" since I'm poor?  Should we appoint you the official arbiter of what items poor people are allowed to keep when they apply for public assistance?

Yes Adamar, 41 degrees in January is very bizarre. haha. I'm glad I only went with a small faux fur wrap instead of a full faux fur coat, I'm not even gonna need it!

[QUOTE]I never said that people on food stamps weren't worthy of having nice things. A purse is a bad example. We don't know how the person got the LV purse. A gift? Bought it? Found it? Stole it? We just don't know. A gift is a different story all together. Like I said earlier, every situation is different. Let's use an example like someone who regularly gets their nails done or hair done. They shouldn't do that if they are on food stamps. If someone gifts it to them sure. I should word my statement differently I don't think people on food stamps should have nice things if they are paying for it. They should sell things if it's something of value and not sentimental or important value (house, car etc.).
