Hi.  Chef is doing good.  Thanks for asking.

He stayed the night.  Not sure why other than maybe to get more money from us?  IDK.  It was so strange not being with him last night.  He has a cone, but doesn't have to wear it all the time.  (he doesn't really have the neck or flexibility to even reach down there.)   I went for a run eariler and had to put him in the crate with his cone on.  Yeah, that didn't work out too good.  He was PISSED.

Now he is on my lap sleeping.

  • Woah, did I miss something? What happened to Chef D??
  • He just wants to hang with you.  That is sweet.  I am missing my dog on this trip.  I am not staying anywhere where he could stay this trip back to NEPA so he stayed home.

Yeah.  I thought he might be pissed at us.  Nope, his butt was doing his normal wiggle when he saw us.   I think DH was the most traumatize about the situation.

  • I just signed up for MFP. It's a start.

I bet Chef D even looks cute with his cone on.

  • I love old movies on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

I'm watching "Guess who's coming to dinner?".  Apparently it would have been  Kathryn Hepburn's 105 year old birthday

But as Wrigley explained it's for the week, so if you're over one day and under another it's ok as long as the net is 1200 (or whatever your calories are).
