Oh I have 2 more that stick out in my head:

* read a post by OOT that made no sense at ALL and people kind of jumped on it and I wondered what the backstory was.  I figured there must be a good one, but I couldn't suss it out.

* read a post from Amoro on the ceremonies board that made me laugh so hard I followed her posts to other boards.  This might be how I found E, but I'm not entirely sure about that.

It wasn't an acronym ( to my knowledge) but was associated with a bunch of cute animal siggy pics that "nommed" everything.  As in eating in a cute way.  There was a group of regulars on late at night that mostly had those pics and it became a group nickname.  At least, that's how I remember it.  it's been awhile.

It's still there.  Just go to the Nest boards and click Local Nest boards or something, then find Caribbean.

* I thought P2 was the biggest meanie ever.
* I couldn't figure out why everybody kissed MrsE's butt.
* I thought Fishy hated me.
* I loved Moose.  Still do.  I wish she was around more often.
* I didn't understand why OOT and BGB were ALWAYS going after each other.
* I thought heels was in her 50s (what?!?!  she had that pig siggy).
* I found FFF fascinating. 
* There were as many people on at night as during the day.
* I HATED the dumb polls and that they were always spelled wrong.  I still hate really dumb ones, or if we have too many.  But there are less now, so it's better.
* I found Salt really intimidating.
* I never did an intro, as that was hugely frowned upon.  I just started replying to posts.

Overall, the vibe here is SOOOOO different, and I know people then said it had already softened up a lot.  And, largely, the people who annoyed me then still annoy me now, if they're around.  Sadly, some people I used to enjoy have changed a lot, and are no longer as fun.  But, bright side is we have a lot of new peeps who are fun too.

I started lurking the same time Mrs. E went crazy.  I stopped lurking for a long time after that.  I was scared away.  I came back when I had a legitimate question, and was reading through threads and found some of you hilarious, so I decided to lurk some more, and finally start posting.  I was terrified I would get flamed, or people I really like  just wouldn't like me, but so far I'm doing ok.

I am still really new, so when I first started posting was just a few weeks ago.

I did feel like an outsider and I was afraid people would hate me. Everyone has been nice though.

I feel like making a signature made a big difference. Like it made me a real person.

Guys, I can honestly say that I can remember when Mrs. E wasn't crazy. She gave a donation to the Red Cross in my name during the flood of 2009. But then she went all nazi sympathizer on Moose and all blackmaily, and then yeah.
