I think she was, but I'm pretty sure she is mostly Canadian. I still have no clue who everyone is talking about though.
• Holy crap.  One thing that I've not had in my absence is a ticker.  I'm getting married in 5 and a half months.  WTF?

• MK, that's because she only posts on our month board and another board.
• I mean I'll name the person. The crazy cross board drama was months ago. If she stick to your board and military odd are she won't come around here.

• Mainly I didn't post it because she doesn't post here, but I thought it might encourage Charmin to come back.
• I've been gone so long I have only the vaguest of recollections.  But OK, I'll go back there too.

• She did post here for a while. I remember the SN.

Alright we are off to dinner. Have a good night ladies and Chrmun!

• I started reading an interesting (to me) book today.  AWOL on the Appalachian (sp? - I'm too lazy to look it up) Trail.  It's about a guy who spent 4 or 5 months thru-hiking the AT.  It's making me want to hike the AT.  What can I do with kids for 6 months so H and I can do this? Or at what age could I take a kid on this type of trip, and can I pull them from school for 2 months.  It'd definitely be a learning experience, right?  LOL.

Bye, C!  (Also, E is so cute I want to bite his toes.)

• If memory serves me. She was the Katelyn chick who was bashing Marine wives and had some major drama on CC when she started posting. Maybe she's the "insanely popluar" poster from that KPS.

• Loopy I'e heard about hiking the whole Appalachian trail. I would love to do that. If you really wanted to do it with kids I'd at least wait until middle school or high school. And I'd make sure they had a proper understanding of nature and the wilderness.

• You got it MK. We've been dealing with her on our month board forever. She also thinks that not inviting SOs is okay and brings it up a lot. Then she's surprised when I correct her.
• Megbo, I'm so happy you're still using the honey!
• Loopy, I want to do the AT also. H isn't really the outdoorsy type so I doubt he would want to do it with me though.
• I want to hike the AT. Go with kids during the summer, lots of local camps go for weeks at a time. I have friends who have done parts and a friend who did the whole thing.

• AT sounds so cool! Loopy, maybe you could take the kids during summer vacation?
Someone in my elementary school was babysat but a girl who did it, and she showed a slideshow.  It was really cool!

Mica, it's seriously so good.  I'll probably have it forever because there is so much!
Is Cirque du Soleil  from Canada? That's the only commonality I can think of between the other things listed. ETA: I see that it is. Huh. Who knew. Well besides Charmin of course.

The only reason I knew they are French Canadian, is because I have seriously considered auditioning for them.

• Yeah.. The book said a 6  year old did it, but I'm not sure many 6 year olds are that interested in hiking every day for 4 or 5 months.  Or at least like 6 days a week I think.
Nicki, this probably isn't what you want to hear, but have you heard about the links to soy consumption and endometriosis and other issues with the reproductive system? It isn't something I know a whole lot about, but it might be something to look into.
Posted by annakb8
<div>I had terrible endometriosis for years, and my doctor recommended cutting out soy. I don't know if it was that or my Mirena IUD, but I've been cramp-free for about five years. That's why I stopped being a vegetarian.</div>
• I learned something new today! Didn't know Special was a vegetarian previously. How long were you?

• About four or five years, but I was never really a fan of meat. Before I actually considered myself a vegetarian, I only ate meat a few times per month.

I'd say about half our meals are vegetarian. H kind of whines, though, so I cook meat a lot more than I want to.
• I just made some cranberry orange muffins, and they're a little too sour. They're tasty, and I made enough to freeze for a while, but I think I'll add a little more sweetener next time.
• I love cranberry everything! Thanks for sharing Special. Very interesting!

How about making a cream cheese frosting for them? That might help sweeten up the sourness.

• You read my mind, Nicki. I just set out some cream cheese to soften. Now H is excited that I'm making "breakfast cupcakes."

Speaking of dessert for breakfast, have you guys seen the thing on Pinterest where you blend frozen bananas, peanut butter and chocolate chips? It's like ice cream for breakfast.
• It's not a smoothie. It's like eating a bowl of ice cream. I keep meaning to chop and freeze some bananas, but they keep getting eaten.
