Irritations (rational or otherwise)

One of the volunteers here is totally ticking me off.  She comes in once a day, with no warning, and dumps a whole bunch of work on my desk, regardless of if I'm in the middle of something.  And does it with a crappy attitude.

Sometimes I wonder if everyone here thinks I sit around eating bon bons all day.

Now you go.

Re: Irritations (rational or otherwise)

  • Same page Bay, same page! My boss needs everything ASAP right this second, sure no prob, not like I'm busy working on anything else ever...

We have a walk-in pantry. H always leaves the light on in there (the door to the pantry has glass on it so you can see inside). It drives me crazy.
  • I get irrationally irritated at the buyers here. Your whole  job is to get me (and people like me) shiit when I need it in a timely manner... 8 months is not a timely manner-

  • Also panty hose why are you expensive when you rip so easily... seriously.

  • When people say Valentime's Day. That was acceptable in first grade, but as a grown adult you just sound like an idiot.

  • I get irritated when people make fun of others behind their back.

I work with a lot of guys, and they are HORRIBLE.  There's one guy that none of them like and whenever he's not around they say mean things about him.  Really makes me wonder what they say about ME behind MY back.

  • I get irritated by pins on the food section of pinterest that are labeled with "yummy" or "so good!" instead of what the recipe is for. You might think it is good, but I have no friggin clue what it even is.

  • Eagles I am giving up on peolpe 1 knowing the definition of words and 2 how to spell them.  I just cannot handle it anymore.

We had a 30 minute argument about effective versus affected. The product is affected by setbacks. Their retort but it is effective...

<div>Honestly, I would rather these guys grew a pair and said it to the other guy's face :-)   I just didn't expect men to be so gossipy.  </div>

  • I'm starving - I had my oatmeal and just devoured my afternoon snack b/c its not lunch time yet (we always eat lunch as a group).

Sparent - I use Ellen Tracy tights.  Buy them.  Love them.  I used to buy the cheap ones at CVS that rip after you wear them 1-3 times.  No longer.  These are 3x as expensive ($15 vs. $5) but they have lasted since late October.

  • Cabinets or drawers not shut all the way.  Grrrr

  • In the Valentine's Day trend, I'm irritated by people (mainly on FB) who bitch about every.single.holiday.  I have people on my friends' list (that I really should just hide) who do status updates like this:

    Valentine's Day: "Happy Hallmark Holiday!"
St. Patrick's Day: "Way to degrade the Irish people by getting drunk and being disgusting."
Columbus Day: "Let's all celebrate genocide and xenophobia!"
Thanksgiving: "Have fun indulging on all that food and booze while people are starving!"
Christmas: "Cutting down trees is damaging to the environment and Christmas is nothing more than commercialism."

Holyshit.  I get it.  You hate the holidays.

  • Last week everyone in the office got a notice that we need to review our head boss, it is supposed to private. I didn't know everyone else had gotten one until today and both my boss and my other CW are talking about it! Isn't it supposed to be private?

  • I am annoyed at my hot water. Its too hot. I am physically unable to drink really hot water. I have no idea how people drink coffee. Its always too hot.

  • I get annoyed when people say they are OCD or slightly OCD about something.  OCD is a diagnosed medical condition that can seriously affect people's lives.  Just because you like things clean and neat or you like to make lists does not mean you have OCD.

<div>Yeah. That defeats the whole purpose of searching for stuff. Half the stuff I pin has the word "yum" in it. I immediately change it, since I won't remember WTF is in that picture.</div>

  • Bay if I had friends like that I would send them 6 cards every holiday.
And then tell them to buck up or ship out, but I am bitchy like that especially today.

MP it is weird you are a vegetarian and can't even spell it.

Avion- I just asked a guy if he is always this stupid or if he just reserves it for me. But yea I might tell them to grow a pair and talk shiit to his face.

  • I'm irrationally irritated that it's February. I hate February. I always have. I wish I could just hibernate through it.
  • I'm also pissed off at the people who live above me for being so fucking loud all the damn time. We've been woken up at 5 everyday for weeks. This shiit is getting old.
  • I'm irrationally irritated that it is not Friday yet.

  • My history prof lectures in a normal speaking voice. Someone said today that she couldn't hear him, and he pretty much said, "Tough. Move to the front of the room."

There are no fucking seats in the front of the room. It's packed. I'd love to sit where I can actually hear, but I'm not going to sit on someone's lap to do it.
  • When people show up uninvited. Instant blood boiling. Last Sunday, H and I were watching a movie in the morning, hadn't even changed out of our PJs. One of H's friends (lives down the street) called, he ignored it and let it go to voicemail.

5 minutes later, friend shows up knocking on the door wanting to hang out. WTF ASSHOLE. Not answering the phone means we don't want company, why the hell are you coming over? I just looked at H and said "I hope you plan on telling him to go the fvck home, otherwise you're about to see my bitchy side." He got rid of him.
  • Sesh I don't understand why people keep just stopping by your house... it is fuucking weird.

  • I'm irrationally irritated that H woke me up 3 times before 5 am this morning. It sucks that you have to leave by 5:15, but don't turn the light on and stomp around in our room. Your uniform is all black, dude. No matching involved.

Because a couple of his friends are effing idiots and have nothing better to do with their lives than screw up everyone else's schedules. Clearly, I like them SO MUCH.

They actually don't come over as much since I stopped being fake nice at their random visits. I don't care if I come off as the bitch wife if it means fewer visits. I only tolerate them because they help H fix his truck and trailer for cheap. But overall, they're losers.
