Haven't seen Parking Wars, but I think I would like it.

MK-- It is pretty much a show about people throwing sh*t fits at parking impound lots. And it makes my blood pressure all wonky because people used thow fits like this to me all the time at the bank. I always find myself sympathizing with the people that work there.

Yeah, that is kind of the problem. The people behind the counter are usually not the people who are at fault for the problem. People would get really pissed about mistakes that *USUALLY* were not ACTUALLY the bank's fault. The rules might be crappy sometimes, but people just would get out of control. I've been told I was the spawn of satan and had my life/family threatened many times, especially after I became a supervisor and had to come to the rescue of newb tellers.

Oh yeah, I watch what I can online. But I'm pretty busy as well so it doesn't bother me. Actually I find that without it I don't feel the need to really watch anything. When I have cable I feel like if I miss a show I've missed out. Now I'm just like eh, whatever. I actually don't watch much during the week, I usually catch up on what I want to see on the weekends.

Speaking of parking tickets, I appealed the one that I got this year in the parking lot at school. I have a parking pass that I display on my rearview mirror. I have not moved it once since getting it. I had to get new plates after my car accident because one of them was badly damaged, and the new plates had a different sequence of numbers. We are supposed to update our car info online in the school's website for our parking pass. Well, it was a few days after the new plates were put on and I didn't change the info yet. I got a $30 ticket for being parked in my normal lot, with the ticket claiming that I didn't have a parking pass OR plates weren't registered. I had a pass, and I conceded that I hadn't updated the plates yet, but WTF why was the officer blind and didn't see the parking pass in my window?? I appealed and was just informed that the appeal got denied. I'm irritated even though I made a mistake (but it was only a FEW DAYS after a freakin' accident)

H is on the board of a charity in Peru (an orphanage/school for kids with disabilities), and we're going down to do see the place and maybe drop off some medical supplies.  Then we're going to see Machu Picchu.  Woot!

He was a cute, Musical... so sorry to hear about him being PTS. That's hands down the worst part about having pets - letting them go. I have one that will be 13 this year (my first Champion, actually) and I'll be a wreck when she goes. My "heart dog" (as in, there will never ever ever be another like him) just turned 9 in April... when he goes, I don't know what I'll do. The thought of it alone is enough to bring me to tears.

Bree, I agree with you. When I was working at Target and someone called or came in with a problem, I was much more inclined to help them to the best of my ability than I was if they came in and yelled or got angry right away.
