Yep, it was at a music festival! The band playing are friends of ours - our first date was at their 12/31/03 NYE show. They also played our reception (if anyone's curious, I have a high quality recording of the reception set and I'd be send a copy).

I'll be honest, the was my absolute ultimate proposal. It's exactly what I would have wanted. In fact, we were talking about getting engaged and he goadingly mentioned getting engaged at an Italian restaurant to throw me off the scent and I was like "nooooo! That's so unoriginal! What about..." and he stopped me and said "DON'T SAY ANOTHER WORD." Because he knew I was about to suggest what he was already planning.

I'm so glad he stopped me then and I didn't ruin the surprise. Despite the fact that I had the idea in my head, I was SO surprised. They started playing "our song" and then this happened (needs sound):

Did y'all watch the video? You have to watch the video! It's seriously the best. Except the part where his voice cracks out of nervousness and I fall all over the place trying to get on stage. But yeah that was like my ultimate fantasy come true. And that shiittt never happens.

I haven't had Chinese for awhile. I don't really like any of the local places. There was a really good place near my ex that we used to get all the time, but it's too far for me to go there now. Oh well, I never really crave it.

The place we go is amazing. I went to Panda Express a few weeks ago with a friend, and it was just awful. This place packs it full, and I always have leftovers that are delicious the next day.

There's a great chinese buffet in Raleigh we used to go to once a year when we went over to State for a 4-H event, but we skipped this year.

I don't like sushi. I'm picky, and not a big seafood fan, and the thought of eating raw fish makes me queasy. Even the cooked stuff is just not appealing to me.
