We have tried 3 different chinese places and haven't found one we like yet.  I'm scared that chinese food out west is just weird compared to chinese food in Cleveland.  Is that even possible?

I wish I could eat Chinese. Everytime I try I think it's cat. I would love just to learn how to make General Tso's sauce and I'd be happy. I can make the chicken, just not the sauce... YUM fried rice.

Sara - I don't like fish either. But not all sushi is fish. The ones I got were an avacaodo cucumber roll, seaweed salad roll, sweet potato roll, and asparagus roll. Mmm.

Yeah - the place we tried Saturday, the General Tso's was really sour, and the fried rice had no veggies in it.  No peas, no onions, no egg - just rice - fried.

We have an office in Cleveland, I could ask my friend that works in that office. She loves Asian food and could probably review the ones downtown. She lived about 45 minutes west of town, but recently moved about 10 minutes south of downtown, IIRC.

She travels to Winston for training and is my counterpart in Cleveland.

I love Avocado rolls. We do have a good Sushi place downtown Winston. I go sometimes with the evening crowd, but I don't much like the fish rolls, either.

That sucks : ( The sushi place doesn't have veggies in their rice (what I'M eating now) but I didn't go there for the rice. The chinese place across the street has amazing rice with veggies and egg and little pieces of pork.

As for sushi, I like California rolls, sans the avocado, only because I'm 'llergic.

It's just on the huge list of fruits and vegetables that I'm allergic to. I find it far more tragic that I'm allergic to grapes.

Is anyone watching The Glass House, by chance? I've been watching it because there's NOTHING else on that I like on Monday nights. At first I thought it was stupid, but apparently I'm a sucker for crappy reality tv, and I'm getting into it now.

If I could afford the land, I would love to have all kinds of fruit trees. But, I think one day when we own a house I will try to get a Cherry tree. I freaking love cherries.

Jess - When I'm not on Topomax I can't eat Avocados or Grapes due to Migraines. The Topomax controls them enough that I can eat like a normal person. Off it there's a list a mile long - hard cheese, smoked meat, luncheon meat, raisins, I can't remember what else... It's been too long.

Avocados are wonderful.

Bananas, avocados, grapes, melons, cabbage, different types of lettuce...etc. Basically, if it's naturally high in potassium and it's raw, I'm going to be allergic.

I would hate not being able to eat yummy fruits and veggies. The only thing I'm allergic to is mango.

I watched some of the first episode Jess, but haven't watched any more.  I can't wait for Big Brother to start Thursday.  That's my junky reality TV.
