In Response to Re: Good Morning Y'all!!!! : I love the glittery polishes because they wear like iron and they look amazing. Although every once in awhile they stay on TOO well and are almost impossible to remove!
Posted by willywally5
<div>Truth. I was picking glitter off of my toe nails for weeks after the actual color chipped away. </div>
• Yeah, I have actually had to soak my nails before to get rid of the glittery stuff.
Oh boy. Mail just came and we got a bunch more RSVPs! YAY!
image
• I currently have purple toes. Texas- that is excitin , the last leg of this part of the journey! I loved that picture, I love the contrast and she is so pretty!
~~Mendi~~ ...Everyone has their price; mine's chocolate Photobucket
• Awesome! I love getting RSVPs.
• Thanks mmmendi.

I am an official mailbox stalker. They aren't all due until August 18. We still have over 200 people from whom we haven't heard. Gah.

• Hey, ladies!!!!

I'm taking a break and having a well earned beer... a Summersault, by New Belgum to be precise.  Delish and so refreshing!

My house is looking so great!    I still have one more room to do, then it's the grocery store.  I'm going to treat myself and youngest DD to Pho for dinner tonight!

Did I miss anything exciting?
• That's why I stopped wearing really glittery polish when they were super popular in the 90's. So stupid to remove.

Of course, this teal actually stains my nails and doesn't come completely off. The one time I put it on my fingers, I had to keep painting them different collors until I finally just buffed them until it came off. Suck.
• Yay, Lizzie on getting lots of cleaning done!

We've just been jawin'.

I have been kind of naughty on Groupon today. Got a pair of earrings and a Spanx-like super-fat-sucking cami. Oh boy!

• I love my husband. So much. I really do. And I love talking to him. He's wonderful.

......but if he says one more fuuuucking thing about the Olympics I will find a way to reach through the computer and slap him. I'm sorry, I know it's exciting and I do like keeping up with how many medals the countries have. But other than that - I just do. not. care. And he doesn't seem to get that. All he talks about is details from different events. It's so boring. And I don't want to tell him to STFU because it will hurt his feelings. So instead I will keep reading his play by plays and banging my head against the wall. *SIGH*

• Hehe, speaking of the 90's - my mom reconnected with an old friend. When I opened the door to let her in I thought I had travelled back in time. She was wearing the biggest platform flip flops I've ever seen.
• Lol, I'm breathing. And just FTR I woudn't really slap my H.

</div><div>This one has like seperate compartments for your boobs, so you don't get 'mono-boob.' That's a look I try to avoid like the plague! </div><div>
</div><div>DD ordered these cool custom-made necklaces for all her bridesmaids and the lady just called to say they are ready! YAY! They are stamped sterling with the girls' initials or kids' names/birthstone or whatever as appropriate to each one. Each one is a little different style. </div>

• Hey ladies, anyone know where I can get a pair of reasonably priced white dress pants? I would say, less than $40.

Not true!  That rule is old, old!  It depends more on the weight of the pants now.  If you want to wear them in winter-- go for it!  But in a nice, winter weight fabric. <div>
</div><div>Unfortunately Aleigh, I'm not much of a help for you on where to find them, but I'd definitely check the usual suspects because I'm sure they are going on clearance if they haven't already.</div>

<div>Is it OK if they are stark white or are they supposed to be 'winter white/off white?'</div><div>My mom was a freak about that. LOL. Of course, she would be like 83 if she were still alive, so there's that. </div>

• Stark white is fine. All about fabric choice!!

Hey, what do you think about this for a RD dress for dear old mom, here? I think in a color where the belt is the same as the body of the dress. Maybe eggplant?

ETA, good to know, Snippy. Not that I wear white often, but still ...

Huh. Lane Bryant ships to Sweden.  But also, the link only took me to the page, not the dress. Which one is it?
