  • Flucking TK.
Wally, I think an hour is plenty, and I think it's awesome you guys found a way to include NG without causing other problems.
Hockey, that chick is cray-cray. Glad you're home, because ugh. Did you manage to ditch the kielbasa? :)
Home eating chicken salad sandwiches and doing laundry while FI is at a meeting. Looks like another dust storm is rolling in. Hate.

  • Wally I think this is the one time you do not need to stress. I like your plan and the rest you described. I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

  • willy the dinner sounds like super fun!

The bach party I went to last weekend, our friend's H picked up pizza for us before we went out...and with 45 mins we were done eating and ready to go out!  So I would say an hour is more than enough time :)

There's this chick in our sleepy little town who got a boob job about 15 years ago, when it was way less common for people to have them. And she would just whip up her shirt to show people ALL THE FROOFING TIME! Usually at bars or sometimes at house parties, after a few drinks. Very awkward.

ETA: Feeling much better about the BP dinner now. Thanks!

  • zizi: ya ...actually H ended up mixing it up...he used bbq sauce, brown mustard and Sriracha sauce.  It was delicious...and everyone devoured it in less than 10 minutes.  Actually it was all I have eaten today.  I should change that.
  • Sounds fun, Wally!

My ant hand is bugging the craaap of of me.  Stupid ants!

I'm eating a grilled chicken salad.  It's yum.
  • I agree, Wally.  I think your plan sounds great and I wouldn't stress about it.  It's awesome you guys found a way to incorporate NG - that's really cool.

Mmm, pizza... speaking of which, I wish H would decide he's hungry and would like to eat dinner seeing as its almost 9.  I'm old and lame... which means I'm usually asleep by 10:30.

    <div>Can you even imagine? </div><div>
</div><div>Sometimes I see people and kind of wonder if they are where they are supposed to be, y'know? One morning, H and I were driving along downtown near a nursing home and there was this old man walking along in his PJs, robe and slippers with a Members Only jacket over top, pulling his oxygen tank beside him. We were like,'OMG, escapee!' We drove around the block to take another look and he had bandages on his face, like he was scraped up from a fall or something. We called the PD (which was two blocks away) and just said we saw this guy and we just aren't sure what his deal is and they said they'd check on him. We hung around of course, watching from about a block away. Cop goes and talks to the old man. The old man walks away from the cop and into the bar. In his PJs. Cop just kind of shook his head, got back in his cruiser and left. </div>

  • Lizzie, did you get all bit up by ants? Somehow I missed this.

  • Lizzie: my H swears by Neosporin for all bug bites.
  • Wally: that sounds like something my grandfather would have done when he was alive.  Of course I used to always believe he was going to the library when he went on walks....and never understood why I couldn't go too, or why it took him hooooours to pick up one book :)  Wasn't until I was older when my dad laughed and pointed to the bar next to the library :)

</div><div>Yeah, but not totally.  Ice helps too. It's just a PITA.  </div><div>
    </div><div>Folding laundry is fun with the hand...tons o fun.</div><div>
</div><div>Last night and today have been just stupid.  I'm hoping that the beach house getaway will be the break from bad stuff trend.</div><div>
</div><div>Which reminds me that I have to order flowers for the funeral, but I have no clue when that will be because of the autopsy...I think that's set for Monday.  </div>

</div><div>steak, asparagus and corn on the cob are a success.  And H broke one of my awesome wine glasses and spilled wine all over the floor.  Awesome... NOT.</div>

  • We ate at Olive Garden before we left Fargo this afternoon. I love that gnocchi soup. It was a good trip, except H had a bad night in the hotel. He really needs a couch in the room because he gets up a lot in the night (back hurts, etc.) So, going to have to scratch that hotel off the list. Bummer. But other than that, we had fun. Kiddos got outfitted for school, NG got a cute dress for RD and she and I had mani-pedis.

</div><div>I've had that, it was good. Nice and creamy. I also love the unlimited soup and salad and breadstick lunch...that and a glass of pinot grigio is a nice lunch, and so inexpensive too!</div>
