I Judge

Re: I Judge

  • I would NOT eat the cookies.  I'm weird about homemade food though.  At work potlucks there are only a select few people that I'll eat their food b/c I know how good they are about cleanliness.
  • Yeah I would probably not eat a foreign cookie either, but I would also not ask where someone got them.  I would just assume they made them or something and  grab one.

It's really annoying to the other posters to have someone jump into the middle of a conversation like that, especially with the kind of post you made. I would suggest actually reading the thread you are commenting in next time.

My office building has been the target of multiple terrorist attacks and I would probably still eat some random cookies if they looked really good.
  • She doesn't know where the cookies came from! They just "showed up" in her classroom.  I love home baked cookies but I don't eat food and I have no idea where it came from

<div>Yeah I highly suggest reading before jumping in with ridiculous and condescending statements then.  There's a whole lot of misunderstanding that can be done by just reading one post here and there.  Like I might really believe that MP thinks babies come from storks.  Maybe I should roll in here calling her an idiot for being so naive.  </div>

I think it's weird too, and your coworker is trying to have you be the taster (like the king has to make sure people aren't trying to poison him).  I guess if it was in the kitchen and said "help yourself" for whatever reason that would be more normal.

Unless she's Dumbledore, I'd guess nobody is trying to smuggle poisoned cookies into her office. If someone leaves cookies on my desk, I eat first and ask questions later.

[QUOTE]I walked into my daughter's school this morning and there stands a woman in her skin tight leggings, a body shaper tank with a lace shirt over it. Her tits were up to her chin and you could see through the leggings. So.... I judge women who clearly have on clothes that are not right for their body shape or size, but they wear them anyway cause they are sold in their size. I know I will probably get flamed for this because a "reg" did it, but I also judge women who bring their new babies out around strangers before their 6 week checkup/shots. I know how it feels to be cooped up in the house for weeks, and I had to do it in the summer. But I just really feel like a newborn should be inside and not out around all of the germs that people carry,<strong> I also think that the mom should stay in. at least, until the bleeding stops. TMI? Sorry. Yes, I understand running to the store or going to the doctor's office but just out and about, no way.</strong>

So you are judging my friend who had to go back to work after only 4 weeks?  Intersting....

  • This thread is making my diet fail.

Scotts - if homemade cookies showed up in her classroom - they are obviously a present.  If something edible shows up in my office - I typically eat it.

I just WW for making the things I want to eat be so high in points.

<div>I wouldn't eat the cookies, and I never ate anything that came from my student's houses unless I knew the parents and knew what kind of family they were.  However, I'm judging you for her referring to her ridiculousness at what her parents taught her, when you've already tried to pull that excuse yourself today.</div>

  • Saying you have to eat a whole bag of cookies because you "don't like to waste food" is the dumbest thing ever.  Just do what I do and admit you're eating them because you're a chubass.

  • I wouldn't eat food that was randomly left like that, but people bring in food all the time to work and leave it on the kitchen counter with no explaination. I have no issues eating that food.

     Fuuck me, you're hilarious. :D

However, I wouldn't eat a random, strange, homemade cookie.  Ewkie.
  • People drop off baked goods at my office all the time.  Usually for the priest.  I eat them.  I figure the majority of the little old ladies that leave cookies for the priest aren't trying to poison him.  He's pretty well-liked.

  • Guys, it's not about poison!  It's about the people who cook without washing their hands after going to the bathroom or lose hairs in their food while they're cooking.  Ick.
