I Judge

Let's do it.

I judge adults who mumble. I can't understand 3/4 of the people who call here because they all sound like they got marbles in their mouths. ENUNCIATE PEOPLE.

I judge people on the HM board and travel board on TN in general. Especially people who say they want to plan a trip to Eastern Europe and then name Prague and Vienna as their main cities of interest.
  • Oh god Anna.  I can't even pick that up right now because I'm too annoyed with everything else.

I judge my American coworker/supervisor for ALWAYS being a snot face to me no matter what I do.  Stop with the attitude already!
  • I judge the neighbor lady across the street from me.  I promise every single time I look outside she's standing outside on her porch smoking with a little (maybe 18 month) boy standing at her feet.  It's disgusting and I judge her.

  • I judge people who have been fired from their job once who come back and think/act like they own the place.

Umm, some of us have not only been there longer, but have managed to NOT get fired in that time, too.

I also judge people who can't pronounce the name of the company they work for.

I walked into my daughter's school this morning and there stands a woman in her skin tight leggings, a body shaper tank with a lace shirt over it. Her tits were up to her chin and you could see through the leggings. So....

I judge women who clearly have on clothes that are not right for their body shape or size, but they wear them anyway cause they are sold in their size.

I know I will probably get flamed for this because a "reg" did it, but I also judge women who bring their new babies out around strangers before their 6 week checkup/shots.

I know how it feels to be cooped up in the house for weeks, and I had to do it in the summer. But I just really feel like a newborn should be inside and not out around all of the germs that people carry, I also think that the mom should stay in. at least, until the bleeding stops. TMI? Sorry. Yes, I understand running to the store or going to the doctor's office but just out and about, no way.

  • I judge my landlord for not mowing our lawn yet this spring.  I also judge him for the general condition of the house, which I would never tolerate in a house that I owned.
  • I judge people who go into stores in pajamas.  I totally get wanting to be comfortable, but you can get that feeling with sweats and/or wind pants.  I don't want to see you walking around in your eeyore pajama pants at 4pm.

  • I judge about 95% of the people that live in my county because they refuse to spay/neuter their pets, refuse to properly care for their pets, and see them as things to be trashed whenever they feel like it.

    ARGH.

  • I judge a friend of mine.  She spent the last year bitching about how a mutual friend of ours stopped hanging out with us as soon as she got a boyfriend.  I mean full-on snarking whenever this girl's name was brought up.

She started seeing a guy in March.  I haven't seen or heard from her since.  Big ol' crate of hippos.

  • SW - yep, I'm going to go ahead and flame/judge the mom and baby comment.  Its really unreasonable to think that a mom should stay inside until the bleeding stops.  Am I supposed to stay inside on my period, too?  And honestly, taking the baby out and about is pretty low-risk, as long as you're not passing them around to strangers.  Yes, having a baby means making sacrifices.  No, it doesn't mean the mom ceases to be a person who needs to get out and enjoy herself and interact with other people.  I don't know what I would do, since I don't have kids, but I think judging it is ridiculous.

I judge that crazy lady whose blog was posted all over the place yesterday because she said stress during pregnancy can lead to "disorders" such as homosexuality. Pretty much every single thing on her blog is judgeworthy, like the millions of pictures she takes of herself, and her statements about how food is evil and we shouldn't enjoy food, just eat it to survive.

I also want to judge myself for being completely fascinated by her blog. And for liking looking at her pictures because she is pretty.

I love how on the show 'swamp people' they have to put up captions b/c half the people are too hard to understand.
  • I judge parents who smoke around their kids too, especially H's friends. Their daughter, 5 or so, has a horrible cough that she's had since I've known her (almost 5 years) that I know is signs of asthma. It's that deep chest/lung cough you get when there is too much crap in your lungs. Poor kid.

I judge my lazy coworkers. Any amount of extra work they can get out of, they do. Why is it so hard for people to just come in and do their damn job?

Yeah I saw that the other day. There's only a miniscule portion of the population that really has an accent that thick. If I hadn't grown up with an aunt from Bayou Sorrel, I wouldn't be able to understand any of them either.

  • I judge anyone who smokes while pregnant.  I think it is incredibly selfish of you to not give that up for your future child, or at least for the duration of your pregnancy.

I also judge parents who smoke in the car or house when they have kids, even if the kids aren't in it at the time because that smell lingers.  Also if you smoke while pushing a stroller.

I agree completely.  Also, you can't protect your kids from every germ on the planet, and trying is just going to be a problem later on in life.
  • I judge the neighbor across from my grandmothers house who yells at everyone like he still lives in NY, cages his kids up with bars on the windows, and refuses to let his wife go or do anything besides to get her hair done.

I judge people who smoke around children (this includes my mother) as I always smelled like an ashtray going to school and hated it

I judge people who have animals and let their houses stink...my yorkie is pad trained, she goes, you clean up....it's not hard..if you can't manage an animal PLEASE DONT HAVE A CHILD!

I judge people who have one kid, see it's hard, can't cope well and then have another and continue to pass both off on another family members years later to "get their life straight"..it was never about them once they got pregnant the first time

and I REALLY judge and sometimes honk at people that throw their cig  butts out of cars..1) It can start a fire 2) they are not biodgradable and 3) it's LITTERING...if you need to smoke that bad...make sure you have an ashtray in your car

[QUOTE]I judge women who have their bra straps showing all the time.    Several different styles of bras are available for a reason.  Your regular bra DOES NOT look good with a strapless or backless dress.  I don't care if Sarah Jessica Parker's character did it all the time on Sex and the City.  It's not cute.

I agree. And I just want to add that clear bra straps are NOT the solution.

While I judge her for using the word "disorder" in relation to homosexuality, there has been some research/links made between stressful pregnancies and homosexuality. Something to do with extra stress releasing extra estrogen, etc. So I pretty much just judge the indication that there is somethign wrong with homosexuality...

We had a whole discussion about the stressful pregnancy/homosexuality link in one of my SPED courses this past semester with a professor who is homosexual - he actually brought the topic up. (LOVE HIM. Hands down my most favorite professor EVER.)
