[QUOTE]In Response to Re: I Judge : I disagree.  Yes, having a baby is a big deal, but to say it's traumatic?  It really shouldn't be.  It's a natural thing.  (Minus c-sections, which are, obviously, surgery)  If I have a regular vaginal delivery, I don't see why I need 6 weeks of recovery.

I am waaayy late.. But I agree.  I had my son at a birth center.  He was born at 4:30am and and we were home by 1:00 in the afternoon.  It really isnt traumatic.

And he was born 2 days before Christmas and we had people over.

And he has already been on an airplane ride (he is 4 months now).

None of which the doctors had any issue with.

HAHA you are the type of person I want having kids in this world.

And yes, when I mentioned crayons it was just one example of things that I see children throwing.  I worked in a restaurant for 7 years and people give their kids crayons and crackers, or dump the sugar packet container directly in front of their children for the soul purpose of allowing them to break things and toss them at people or all over the floor.  If it happens a little bit and the parents control it, it's one thing.  When the parents do it so they can ignore their little terror, I get angry.

    Edit:  Typo.

You edit for a typo, and STILL don't know the difference between "soul" and "sole?"

  • Jumping on the restaurant and kids bandwagon, I judge parents who pick up food their kids have thrown on the floor and hand it back to them to eat, or leave it there, usually in the walkway for someone to step on or slip on.

That is gross and it is unsafe.

Eww.. this happens?? I would not even eat food myself off of a restaurant floor let alone my (non existent) baby.

I was a waitress for 3 years.  ALL THE TIME, or so it seemed.  That, and picking up the baby's pacifier, sticking it in their (Mom/Dad/Babysitter) mouth to clean it off, then putting it back into the baby's mouth.

I judge people who, at the first of the month in particular,  go out to a restaurant, order a huge amount of food, then leave NOTHING for the server.  In my book, if you can afford to go out, you can afford to tip, too.

My bad for using the wrong sole.  Sometimes when I'm typing quickly I accidentally hit the wrong keys.  I edited because I had an extra T in mentioned because on occasion my keyboard sticks and it was an obvious mistake.  Stop being such a condescending biatch.

  • I judge the girl next door to me, she is 23 lives in a 2 bedroom apt  has 3 kids under 6 and is 6 months preggo with her 4th. She goes out and parties all the time and takes diet pills. She lives with her bf doesnt work and is on public asstistance...WTH is wrong with some people.
  • I judge people who fuucking ask women when they are due WITHOUT knowing for certain that woman is pregnant.

My favoristest CW was asked that yesterday by a visiting financial advisor. I feel absolutely terrible for her. She came into my office and told me she wanted to cry and told me what the person asked her. Then she told me what she told the biitch that asked her, "Well.. I am in the process of selling my home (and have been for a year) so I can finally divorce my husband of 25 years of which we were unable to ever have kids, so no. There is no due date".

WTF I want to punch something. I feel terrible. She is pretty much the sweetest woman I have ever ever met and would give you absolutely anything you ask for. People are just assholes.

  • Holy crap it took forever to read this thread (covertly @ work of course lol). I judge my coworkers for never being on time. Work started at 7:30, it's almost 8:30, and I'm the only one here. I also judge misspelling. And just to chime in on the other topics...

    1) I *have* stayed at home for 6 weeks before (no job, no $, nowhere to go) and the result wasn't pretty. I got restless and ended up cutting about 8-10" of hair off. That'll never happen again.
    2) Oh what I would give for a Chipotle here... *sigh*
    3) If I had no idea where the cookie came from, it's not going in my mouth. If I know the source, though, consider it eaten. Germs...eh...it builds your immune system.
