Re: Good Evening!

  • Hi tortis! Is your younger pup another lab? My 10month lab had her first few storms a few weeks ago and didn't even wake up, heh.

[QUOTE]Am I too late to drop in? I'm waiting for storms too. I'm wondering how our younger pup will do with them. She's about 5 months, so this should be her first big one. Our older one could care less. He'd doesn't get scared, but he will for sure get mad if I make him go in the basement to avoid tornados.

Not too late at all!  Which one is sig pic dog?  The older one or the younger one?  In my experience big dogs are scaredier when it comes to t-storms.

  • I slept in this morning, so I'm all wide awake here.

Those of you who celebrate Easter, do you have any fun plans?

  • I'm here again.  I'm pretty happy I just got off the phone a few minutes ago with my guy BFF.  We haven't talked in a while and we were able to talk for like an hour.

I probably won't be here too long though.  Glee just started.  I like to let it get a little ahead on DVR so I can skip commercials.

<div>Our older one, Emmit, is in my sig. He's actual a golden! He's just really red- I've heard everything from setter to golden to "what is he"?</div><div>

  • I didn't get out of bed until after 1 this afternoon. I'm not tired at all. I'm thinking about going to the store to get some spicy food for dinner though.

  • H just called a couple minutes ago and said he wants to deep fry a turkey for Easter, and since we have no family or many friends here, he wants to invite the couple younger people in his shop since they have nobody here either, and a few of them live on the ship.

  • Wow- I just looked at the Doppler.  That is some nasty shiit coming our way.

  • Kate, neither of them is by any means small! Ella is almost 5 months and shes about 45/50 lbs. Vet thinks she's going to be about 90. Emmit is 80, hes a year and a half. He's normally afraid of EVERYTHING, but rain he could care less.

  • Deep fried turkey is awesome.

We're going to see FI's parents for the weekend. They're about 3 hours NE of Pittsburgh.

  • Haha nope not yet.  I have to wait and see if it will be the same weekend H will be leaving, because then I wouldn't be able to go.

I'm beginning to think when I move from here to VA I should just take my time driving, and Stewie and I can stop and visit any and all knotties who want to take us in for the night.

  • I will hopefully have a baby by Easter. I'm really hoping that I don't need my appointments next Tuesday.

  • Yup. I don't plan on sleeping through the night.

Speaking through the night, I will confess now that not many people are here that I plan on taking next Friday off to watch the royal wedding live. And I'm not ashamed. ::holds head high::
  • Yeah I'm sure it will be fun.  We had the one guy from his shop over a couple weeks ago for dinner, but the other ones were on leave.  This one is 23, but just joined so he is low ranking and has to live on the ship.  He was so excited to just sit on a comfy couch and be in a house.  I felt so bad, so I told H we could invite them over more often.

  • I plan on watching it too birdie.

</div><div>JK.  H was actually watching a special last night on what their wedding day will be like for them.  I just kept lookig at him, like "really?"  He clearly is more into it than I am.  I just can't wait til it's over because I'm sick of hearing about it.  </div>

  • DVR is just not good enough for me.
  • Ciara maybe you'll end up with an Easter Bunny baby.
    imageBabyFruit Ticker
  • Aw, Newfoundlands are so pretty so i bet she is gorgeous! And I don't know why i didn't see the golden in emmit, because I'm pretty sure you have told me that before, heh. Either way, super cute :) Well J finally called so it's off to bed for me! Ciara I hope not to see you around tomorrow, and instead that you be in the hospital meeting little Edmund!! Good night ladies!

  • Hehehehe I watched the Lifetime movie "William & Kate" last night, partly because I was interested and partly because of how horrible I had heard it was. I mean it WAS a Lifetime movie. But they kept doing a promo for a show coming on after it that was a Part 1 of 6 and FI yells "This is PART ONE???"
  • Beachy that would be okay with me. DH is worried that his mom will go on a crazy religious kick if her first grandchild is born on Easter. They are already trying to force us to take him to church as soon as possible. I personally want to wait until he is a little older and understands it before we start going.

  • Okay ladies, I think 20 minutes into Glee is about as far as I can wait.  Time for me to curl up with Stewie and a bag of jelly beans.  Goodnight!

  • Haha...I have to work next Friday, so DVR will have to be good enough for me.

Ciara, I hope Edmund shows his little face on Easter so you can take a picture of him with bunny ears :P
